My boyfriend and I have been here since May, 2012. Honestly - we don't have a whole lot of complaints. I am really glad we chose Heritage Heights apartments! It is the cheapest you'll find around the area for the quality. You can go across the street and pay $100+ for "nicer" apartments but they're a whole lot smaller and rumor has it their management sucks.
OVERALL - I give Heritage Heights five stars because of the nightmares I hear about other apartment complexes and how awesome management is. Despite my minor complaints, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. You will not regret choosing to move in here!
Heritage Heights management is wonderful, we've never had a problem with them. They're courteous and respectful, and we have put our trust in them 100%. The buildings are surprisingly quiet for the area, and both inside and out, it's kept clean. I have heard from others that HH is "strict", which may be but just read your lease before you move in. It's easy to get a lease violation (or two like us) the first few months you move in by not reading the rules.
My complaints: When we moved in, we had a flood the first night and it destroyed our (already gross) carpet, no amount of candles/powder etc will rid of the smell of our carpet. I have tried to get it replaced twice in the past few years since we moved in and don't really hear back about it.
Our unit was not the unit we initially toured and thought we were going to be moving in to, and it was not clean like described, although I believe this may have been the caretaker's fault NOT management's because she wanted to come in and clean after we had already moved in.
Parking: SUCKS. The worst. End of story. There should be at least one designated parking spot for each unit, but it's not the end of the world. We got a garage so we didn't have to worry about it every night.
Laundry: I am not convinced whatsoever that the machines actually wash your clothes. My boyfriend used to work at a pizza place for a night job and none of his shirts were ever actually clean after using the washing machines, they just smelled like the detergent. My bleach loads don't make my clothes any whiter. read more
