The establishment features al fresco dining and stunning views of Lake Michigan. There are swings and other fun view points. If you're in Mitten, Pere Marquette is worth the drive. People always rank this park at the bottom of their list when it's comes to US theme parks. My husband and I went to Grand Rapids for Labor Day weekend and this was high on our list of things to do. Our first impression was the park was on the smaller side. The layout is basically a circle so you can easily get from point A to point B. They do have a good amount of thrill rides but the waits were long. The loading process felt like it was longer than normal. There is not a lot of options for food and what we could find was your basic theme park food. It's fine but not anything extraordinary.
