Pleasant bike trail! There are some very nice features like at least one spot for bike fixes and air and a few port-o-potties. There are also many benches if you want to take a break. The path is pretty flat, and much of the trail is flat (though not all). You'll have to cross a road numerous times, but you won't need to wait too long. There are some spots to purchase food along the way, too, in case you didn't bring anything with you. I'll be back! read more

Heritage Trail - First and last ride of the season - Chester, New York

Lovely! We jumped onto the trail for the first time yesterday since it was extended, and had a really pleasant time walking with our daughter and dog. It's beautifully paved and mostly flat (no steep hills, perfect for easy walks, bike rides, etc). Kept clean, benches here and there to rest. We'll definitely be back out there once the weather warms up! read more

Absolutely awesome trail!! This trail is completely flat making it perfect for long walks, bike rides, roller blading or runs. It spans over 15+ miles easily from Goshen into the Monroe area. Winter time the trails are not maintained but if you have a new or old pair of snowshoes you want to bust out then this trail is perfect after a winter blizzard. Great trail year round for summer & winter activities. read more

I love this trail and walk it ALL the time since it's so close to my bf's house. I'm so glad that it's paved so you can walk, run, rollerblade, bike, etc without any problems. Also, it's a good distance, I believe that it's 8 miles one way and then 8 miles if you turn around and go back. It is marked with mile markers so it's perfect for half marathon or race training. It's not very hill-y so I ran this all the time when training for my half. One time we walked a total of 15 miles on this trail (there and back) and we did not get sick of the views. There's areas of beautiful scenic views as well as great foliage, as you can see from my pictures fall time is the best! This trail also goes right by Rushing Duck Brewery so you can take a beer break! read more
