Thankfully I found street parking in the area (30min load/unload) and was able to get in and out easily. Customer service was great! I was greeted with a smile and kindness. The menu is pretty straightforward and there were a few pastries to choose from (pesto croissant; cookie), but I could tell most goodies were sold out for the day at around 2:30pm. I had a gift card and purchased a hazelnut oat milk latte which was oh so smooth and creamy. Also purchased a bag of espresso beans which is more of a medium roast according to the barista. I'm looking forward to trying it. Space is very limited at this location, so you'll likely want to get something to go. Saved $5 for the next visit!

Great coffee, a bit on the stronger/bitter side so I'd recommend adjusting it if you like your coffee sweeter like I do :) Love chatting with the baristas. The space itself is lovely, but I wish their music wasn't too loud.

I'm always on the lookup for my next great cup of coffee. Herkimer is a solid choice. Good selection of coffees and pastries for a light snack. The bonus came from the barista letting me do a coffee flight. Short pours of a couple of different roasts. I sample three coffees for the price of a larger single coffee. I like to buy my coffee in bulk for home so this was a good opportunity. Herkimer sells traditional 12 oz packages as well as 2 lb ones. I bought the 2 lb regular drip in case you're wondering :) Friendly staff, good vibe, and worth the trip.

Yes to Herkimer Coffee! I love this place. Love that the room where they roast and grind is open to viewers. I also love the quality of their beans. I buy them to use with my at-home machine frequently. This is one of the best Seattle coffee shops in my honest opinion. Give it a try!

Seattle essential! Great coffee (more on the bitterstrong dark side). Love the minimal acidity! The vibe is cool and hipster. Not too much people. People are respectful.

Stopped here to get coffee. Got a cappuccino and it was pretty good. Very relaxing to sit here, people watch and pet other customers dogs lol The pastries looked good. Friend got a molasses cookie! Service was quick as well!

Great coffee, love this little neighborhood spot. Beans are good and fresh too. Great spot to get some work done.

Excellent customer service. Food is amazing. There was a long line and only few staff members working at front, but it was all worth it.

I got the tiramisu latte but wasn't able to try the blueberry danish as it was sold out. The latte was delicious and came with a ladyfinger on top which was a nice touch. Good menu with rotating seasonals. Pastries & snacks sold. CONS: Shockingly overpriced for what it is! Makes no sense. They've turned a $3.50 drink into a $10 extravaganza. Nothing you get in this store is unique, all of the add ons are very common all over Seattle. You'll get cheaper & proper Viet coffee in International District. Everything tastes like a milkshake. If you want a thick fancy shake with overpriced toppings go for it. Servers are not always friendly. Pastries look tired and stale. I'm sure they are good I haven't eaten one from the looks of it. Bad parking - you have to pay some random person to park now for what used to be a nice community pedestrian area with free parking. If you're local and can walk down, no problem. If you're driving, look for street parking behind the shop. Overall I bring tourists and out of town folks for a milkshake experience. If I'm pressed for time I go for a drink here and then curse myself every time for doing so. I never get caffeinated no matter what I order and it's always $10 gone. I expected this store to have some parking options for their customers but they don't even do that.

It's encouraged to bring your own personal cup or dine in and you will be charged 25cents extra if you choose a to go cup. Vegetarian options available and plenty of alternative milk options. This cafe is very cute and homey. I went in during a very busy time with almost every seat taken so it was hard to look around so I'll have to return to look at the merch and more of the ambiance. Definitely a quiet cafe with dim lighting and most people reading, doing laptop work, or with headphones in. I highly enjoyed the outside seating with benches available. You are welcome to bring your cat or dog outside as long as you are respectful and pick up after any accidents or mess. The menu is much more affordable than other nearby coffee shops. A simple menu with an extensive list of syrups. For my first visit I chose a hot hazelnut latte with hemp milk. Coffee was standard and did the job. I also chose a pound cake with chocolate and vanilla which was okay but a little dry. I really appreciate and praise this cafe for caring about the earth and encouraging customers to dine in or bring their own personal cups. Definitely a cozy and solid spot in the area.
