I don't know what other Herman and Kittle properties look like, but the one here in Michigan City, Indiana has gone way downhill in the past five years that I have lived here. The office management does not care about the tenants, or about needed repairs in the apartments or about how crappy the property looks, garbage all over the place, stray cats running around, lawns not mowed or bushes trimmed during the summer, and poor snow plowing during the winter. They just sit in their cool fancy newly remodeled building while the tenants suffer. OH but they are quick on collecting fines, rent hike increases etc. Just very sad. If my small dog happens to do his business anywhere near their office door, I will be getting notice on my door. But who cares if grass is taller than him he can't find place to do his business and weeds making him sick from his allergies. Would be nice if I could send his vet bills to them, expecially times when he has to walk with shattered glass all over sidewalks and roads. Just very frustrating! read more
