What a gem. Located off the Avenida de la Constitución (Main Street) near the cathedral, is…read moreperhaps Seville's best cocktail bar. The menu for their drinks is based on 80s movies: Lost Boys, Scarface, Pulp Fiction, etc. Order the Pulp Fiction and they bring you a Delorean that takes off. Order the Lost Boy and they bring you a blood kit with a communion wafer. I ordered a Vodka Martini. The waitress went and got Frank the head bartender. I explained what I wanted: a classic Vodka Martini, stirred but not shaken. He immediately understood. What came out was perhaps the best martini I've had in Europe. No easy feat. I told frank that he should name it: Octopussy in homage to the Roger Moore 80s 007 film. 80s music is blaring and the crowd is Gen X. If you go, ask for a Vodka Martini and tell Frank a former "Company" man sent you.

Almost a perfect gem in the Santa Cruz neighborhood. Kind of walk from the main restaurants and…read morebars, but not too far either. The entrance is a bit hidden, you need to walk in and see the LE XIX sign on a billboard or the wall. Only reason for a 4 vs 5 star rating here would be that the menu is short and not easily accessible. It's written on the left side of the bar. Only, only do the mainstream popular classic cocktails, so nothing too extraordinary. But for sure a great spot to stop at either with a group or for an intimate date. The decor and seating is more classy than casual imo, but either way no need for a jacket or coat to come here, casual attire is fine.

Le XIX - La decoración en Le XIX es muy chula :) Sólo con esto, ya te sentirás atrapado, ni hablar de probar las cosas tan apetitosas.

So I went here on a Monday night/Tuesday morning at 2am with some friends...we needed up closing the place at 4am! We loved it so much we found the manager Ryu and asked him if we could have a party there Thursday night after another event. I went home and slept and forgot all about it tbh... Then Ryu calls me at 10:30 while I'm eating breakfast and he's got numbers and info about the party! Amazing follow up! He negotiated a deal for my friends and even resigned and printed up 300 bracelets within 24 hours delivering them Wednesday. We ended up bringing about 300 people there to hang out between 11:45pm and 4:45am and the bar tab was 6280€. He even gave me two bottles of tequila to make sure everyone had the most amazing time! Needless to say for the rest of the week everyone at the conference we were at was coming up to me saying what an absolutely fabulous party it was! It was legendary. Thanks from the GLOMO team to Ryu and Muelle New York for the dope hospitality. You really now how to take care of people.

In February 2025, while studying abroad in Seville, I regularly came to this bar with other…read moreAmerican students because it was close to our residence. One night, another student, someone I did not know and was not with, threw a glass, which shattered. One of the bartenders apparently believed I had done it and began shouting at me in Spanish, asking why I had thrown it. I repeatedly told him in Spanish, "It wasn't me." Before I could really react, the bartender punched me in the jaw. My jaw hurt for days afterward. Immediately afterward, a friend and I, neither of whom had thrown the glass, were forcibly removed from the bar. I called the police, who came to the bar. I explained what had happened to them in Spanish, and they spoke with the bartenders, but ultimately no action was taken that night. I continued going to this bar afterward because it was where much of our group regularly went. About two months later, the bartender apologized to me. However, that does not change what happened. I realize I am writing this review more than a year later, but the experience has continued to bother me, and I think prospective customers deserve to know about it. Being punched in the face by a bartender over something I did not do was completely unacceptable. I still have issues to this day with my TMJ, my temporomandibular joint. I hope the establishment takes incidents like this seriously and ensures nothing similar happens to another customer.
