My husband and I stopped in for dinner. There was a long wait for the dining room so we sat at the bar rail. We were greeted right away by one of the bartenders and got our drinks pretty fast. I had the smash burger with curly fries and my husband had the Reuben with a salad. My smash burger came out juicy and flavorful and my curly fries were hot. The Reuben came out stuff with corned beef and was also very flavorful. The atmosphere here is fun. There are tvs everywhere and had the World Cup games on. Delicious sandwiches! Worth the price. Deli sandwiches aren't cheap. Sandwiches here are around $20, but they are filled with plenty of deli meat and toppings, so worth the price. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Combos come with a choice of several different types of mayo based salads or fresh fruit. I opted for the fruit. I really enjoyed the sandwich and the fruit. It was quiet on a weekday, but I imagine it can get noisy in the evenings or on weekends. Parking can be a little difficult. Now their kitchen closes at 8p during the week, even though they tell you they are open until midnight? Go figure, weird business model. They have absolutely any kind of beer you would want and a full bar with many delicious specialty cocktails. Our food was delicious, the drink cups are pretty big which is good because you get what you pay for. I will say going on a week day, we were watching the game and the restaurant closed an hour earlier than online says so, but that makes sense if there's not a lot of customers that day, resulting in an early close. Weekends or big game days are far more popping and popular buzzing with energy. The staff is pretty chill and will give suggestions if you ask. Last night, I met a friend for dinner at Heroes. I got a spicy jalapeño Margarita that was so refreshing and delicious. We ordered the chips and salsa, and the chips were hot and the salsa on point. I got the brisket dip sandwich and I think this is one of the most tender and delicious briskets I have EVER eaten. Damn it was huge and I took the other half home. College bar vibe which isn't surprising considering the proximity to cal state Fullerton and Fullerton city College. Kitchy motif with fraternity and sorority memorabilia as decorations. Went on a Saturday around 5pm. You walk in and sit wherever you'd like. No hostess at that time. We just waited around until we found an employee and asked. A bit unorganized. We chose a table and sat down our server came right away. She was attentive during our entire stay there. Very friendly. The portion sizes are huge!! Even the appetizers!
