A Horrible Experience -- I Would Not Go Back!…read more I would never go back to The Burger Den for a hamburger unless I wanted to risk getting sick and throwing up all night! This happened to me about a year ago, and it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. During my visit, the kitchen appeared dirty to me, the food seemed to be kept at unsafe temperatures, and I observed people who appeared to be friends of employees coming in and out through the back door and hanging around the kitchen area. On top of all that, my food came out cold. After eating there, I became very sick and spent the night throwing up. It was absolutely horrible! I have learned a valuable lesson: pay attention to the condition of a restaurant. If the outside is filthy and poorly kept, that is a warning sign to me. And if you walk into the bathroom and it is dirty, TURN AROUND AND DRIVE AWAY! Cleanliness matters, especially when people are preparing and serving food. The pizza was excellent. You can really taste the garlic and butter on the crust. The meatballs however we're supposed to be wrapped in dough, and they were not. Just plain meatballs. So that was a little disappointing. They were tasty though! Their ranch was pretty good as well. Overall, would definitely order again... I still want to try the meatball dunkers!
