    Classic Blaufrankisch on the patio

Unbelievable view from an outstanding winery. The space is relaxing and enjoyable, from the regal drive up to the front entrance to the outdoor patio, it feels like its own world. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the wine was worth bringing a bottle home. Will definitely be back!

The view of Keuka Lake from the winery and the building itself are worth your time. We decided to just purchase a single bottle of wine rather than experience another tasting. The wine of choice was a 2022 semi dry Riesling that we felt was decent, but a notch below several others we tasted during our tour of Keuka Lake wineries.

We had a very good tasting at Heron Hill! We made a reservation for a tasting, and opted for the "snack box", which included a choice of cheese, meat, and cracker when we arrived. The snack box choices were all full size and would've been enough for a few people to share. I really liked that all of our snack box choices were locally sourced as well. We had a great tasting with Marianne, she was so friendly and awesome! There were plenty of wines to choose from and the quality was excellent. The tasting room and scenery were also stunning. This is really an incredible tasting room to stop at.

I have not been to this area of the Finger Lakes to taste wine, so it was nice to try new wineries in the area and Heron Hill was one of them. My boyfriend and I checked to see if there was availability that day, and low and behold there was. There was availability at the exact same time my mom and aunt were there, and we ended up wine tasting with them, which was nice and unexpected. It was kismet. The man pouring our wine was really awesome and I really enjoyed listening to him. My boyfriend and I went with the reserve tasting and I am so glad we did. Everything was great, and I came home with a few bottles. There is a great gift shop and the views are breathtaking.

WOW! What a stunning winery with great views, unique wine selection, and a pleasant bar staff. We are staying on Keuka for the week and made this a "must stop" on our first Sunday. You have to make reservations for tastings during the COVID times, and they are doing a nice job with distancing and masking. I tried a variety of red and white wines, with some standouts being the red eclipse, cab franc, and the pinot noir rosé - the last of which I grabbed a bottle of. The baris spacious and great for a group if booking in advance. There are a few different options for outdoor seating as well. Given the current "you must eat with your drinks" guidelines, we ordered some pepperoni and DELICIOUS cheddar cheese, with yummy pita chips that were great leftover. This was such a fun stop for us and I am looking forward to stopping by again soon!

Awesome winery with delicious wines, great atmosphere, and wonderful views! Came here for a tasting with a group of 10 and they had everything set up and ready for us the second we walked in. Our server was incredible, she explained each of the wines on the list to choose from each round and brought us plenty of crackers to snack on throughout the tasting. I tried the 5 sweet wines and they were all delicious, refreshing and bold in flavor. My favorite was the Lady of the Lakes Blush. It was bubbly with hints if strawberry, raspberry, and pomegranate. Unique and great to sip on during a beautiful sunny day. Highly recommend stopping here for an afternoon, you won't be disappointed!

This is a hard review because I have always loved supporting local wineries. We arrived to find a beautifully decorated tasting room overlooking the gorgeous lake view. There was one tasting host and one table being served. We decided since we were already familiar with the wine and we would just enjoy our favorite. To our surprise we were not allowed to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the tasting room, but had to drink it next to the register in the store area where you buy merchandise. A small table was against the windows cramped and not awkward. We ordered our bottle only to feel uncomfortable with patrons shopping around us and not able to enjoy the ambiance of the tasting room. It was disconcerting that we support this brewery and have a favorite and because we don't do the tasting we are not able to enjoy ourselves. The tasting room had plenty of room, so it was clear to us this was their protocol. Lastly the employee Was curt, not very happy, and we felt I welcomed. Odd experience. I cannot recommend after this experience.

My favorite stop on the Keuka Lake wine trail by far! This place had it all! Atmosphere, great wines, friendly service and views, views, views!!! Our sommelier, Jay, was very personable and made our experience wonderful. I normally drink reds but I must say I was very impressed with their Rose'. It was so crisp and light. We really enjoyed it. We did take some bottles home. lol. We also loved the reserve Pinot Nior. It was fruity, light and dry. They have limited seating so you will need to book an appointment. You can book online through their website. I highly recommend Heron Hill in Keuka lake. It's definitely a vineyard not to be missed.

Great view from the tasting room

Nice tasting experience, no lectures in contrast to most of the wineries, so it's simply a matter of sitting and tasting and enjoying.

Had a great experience with Elle as our waitress. I'm not sure what was better the wine or the views. A must stop on Keuka lake!

This really is a treasure!! Allow 3 hours to spend time in the museum, watch a short film, take the tour, do tastings, and shop! It was time we'll spent for our group! Jenny, the manager, was our tour guide today. She was engaging, knowledgeable, and plain old a pleasure to spend time with on our tour. She gave us an in-depth tour of the facility with a lot of history! It gave us a better understanding and appreciation for champagne and sherry, how they are made and their history. I hope sherry has a comeback!! What a cool product with so many uses. The property could use some TLC, new roads, some fresh paint, but I get the idea they're doing what they can to keep the business alive. Our tasting experience, also with Jenny was enlightening! We had their champagne, found them to be wonderful! They also offer wine tastings, and sherry tastings. I'd never had sherry before. But it won't be that last time. I'll bake with it, cook with it, sip it! What a treat! They have an on-site shop where champagne, wine , sherry, and trinkets can be purchased for VERY reasonable prices! Don't miss this treasure!

Their next stop was to Pleasant Valley, so we decided to join them. My mom had made reservations and we arrived and added to them. The tasting was only $5 for each person, which was really nice compared to some of the other wineries who are charging a lot for the wine tastings. We were part of the last tastings of the day, so we didn't have time to look throughout the museum they have, which would have been nice. There is a lot of history there. For this winery, you are seated, and you give the server which wines you want and they bring them back with some crackers, and a piece of brownie. I didn't really care for the wines, I like drier, but my mom and aunt enjoyed it.
