The interior is in disarray and looks unkempt. Very off putting. The owner may live to ere, who knows? Anyway, it was so off putting we decided to leave. It's in a small strip mall with plenty of parking. Somewhat non discreet but they do have a bright sign if you at night. It isn't in the best condition as far as how everything is inside the store. Seems like the owner lives there 24/7... has hours that says 24 hours, but a sign on the door that says if the door is locked to call him. There are boxes and what looks like garbage in the doorway and front entrance, was a little nervous to walk in. Opened the door and said are you open and heard someone say "the doors open isn't it?" Fun ice cream spot with a variety of flavors. I picked the peanut butter cup and it was delicious! The small cup was pretty big. I could have done with a kiddie cup! My boyfriend got a shake. I went here with my wife on a whim one night because of how many Vegan and dairy free options they offered ( my wife is lactose intolerant). Paul realized it was our first time he gave his welcome schpeel, which was really entertaining and impressive. I wasn't planning on getting anything but after seeing the multitude of flavors and Paul's fantastic customer service I couldn't resist! It was really great ice cream, I got a cherry vanilla normal flavor and my wife tried their vegan butter pecan and caramel fudge. We will definitely be going again when on Long Island! read more

We stopped by here one night after seeing some decorated Christmas homes in the area, good ice cream. I didn't go inside but my hubs did and mentioned the mess inside but that the guy was really nice. Visit Date: unsure So I was pretty happy with the ice cream and the owner of the store was super friendly and gave me a good explanation of all the ice cream they had to offer. The reason I give a 3 star review was because the store itself was a hot mess. Stick to Carvel or Ralphs...while the ice cream was pretty good the store was very sketchy. Boxes everywhere and the front counter was also very cluttered with what appeared to be garbage as well. First things first. When you go to this Ice Cream Shop, Paul is great. We came here because my stepdad said that his friend owned this place. Paul gave us the whole run down, not only did we get good ice cream but great service. Most of the people that walk in are coming in smiling and he even has people that you can tell regularly come here. There are so many different flavors and options. I am thrilled to find an ice cream place that sells vegan ice cream nearby!! Hershey's Ice Cream and More has a spectacular amount of both vegan and traditional ice cream, some of which are even kosher! The customer service was spectacular, warm and welcoming. The owner is incredibly friendly and took time to explain all the different flavour offerings, as well as the array of traditional and dairy free ice cream cakes. I so far have tried the dairy-free chocolate, cookie dough, cookies and cream, and mint chip ice cream flavours. The ice cream was delicious and had the ice cream consistency that most dairy-free ice creams are lacking. The owner even said that he could make a shake with the dairy free ice cream and soy milk which I can't wait to try. I have always loved Hershey's ice cream so when this family owned and operated shop opened in my town I was very excited. The staff is very friendly, they are open late and the decor is classic ice cream parlor. My favorite ice cream is the peanut butter swirl which Hershey's has always been the only ones to make it with such huge chunks of creamy peanut butter inside their super rich and creamy signature vanilla. So glad we gave this place a try. Just had dinner with relatives and husband was looking for an ice cream place. He considered Carvel because that's what he knew visiting his cousins and spending summers on Long Island away from the city, but didn't think there would be anything for our daughter who is lactose intolerant. Husband didn't know if place would be open because it was the 4th of July so he gave a call. The owner answered and asked if 10:30 p.m. or 11 p.m. would be late enough. He would be there. We headed over right away. It was a little after 7:00 p.m. The very personable owner asked for 30 seconds to go over the offerings. We would then be knowledgeable enough to be behind the counter according to him. There were over 32 flavors of ice cream to choose from with some not in the front because there is only so much room. There was Serendipity which has 3 times the vanilla flavor and more butter or fat. Husband had to have a scoop of that and the mint moose tracks. He found the mint moose tracks crunchy. He and older twin daughter liked the rich vanilla flavor of the Serendipity. Husband even considered the all natural fruit smoothie with Dole fruit and a base of Mott's apple juice. I had the peach ice cream. The ice cream was very natural with chunks of peach. I enjoyed it very much. There was even lactose free ice cream for the younger twin daughter. About 9 flavors for her to choose from. The base was different from anything she had ever tasted before, but she enjoyed the cherry vanilla she chose. Normally, she is forced to have a sorbet of some sort. The owner could also make a shake with soy milk. I was tempted to take a scoop of the dark chocolate raspberry truffle back to the hotel with me, but husband felt that I should wait for another visit. The store is on a corner and is a dead spot so that is probably why. Inside the store was also very dirty, looked like they were doing construction inside. A lot of stuff unpacked and looked like they just opened. It wasn't very sanitary, everything looked old and dirty.
