Once the case was filed with the court they called my cousin to tell them that they can no longer represent her due to a conflict. Mind you at this point they have already take 2k from their money. She was finally able to get the rest of her money back minus the 2k. Come to find out from other lawyers this is common, and she will refuse to take a case that will go to trail. So dont bother taking a high conflict custody battle to this woman. She will leave you high and dry while setting you up for failure. Thanks to her actions her ex husband has done nothing but stalk her and cause problems between her and the child. Because he now knows she was going to take him to court. Shame on you!

DHS has informed us it may take a few weeks to have the process complete by an Attorney and Judge. We meet with Shayla McCormally on Tuesday. She was very familiar with the DHS adoption process. She was capable of answering all of our questions and put our minds to ease. That following Thursday she meet with our 15 year old Nephew as he had to approve of the adoption. Friday her staff called us to advise they had filed all the necessary paperwork and was able to provide us with dates and times we could meet with the judge!
