Than she handed a high conflict custody battle over to someone who had only been in family law for a very short time. After having to make them fix the documents several times due to wrong names, or spelling or irrelevant information. They finally filed her case with the court after saying another lawyer (her daughter) would take the case. Once the case was filed with the court they called my cousin to tell them that they can no longer represent her due to a conflict. Mind you at this point they have already take 2k from their money. She was finally able to get the rest of her money back minus the 2k. Come to find out from other lawyers this is common, and she will refuse to take a case that will go to trail. So dont bother taking a high conflict custody battle to this woman. She will leave you high and dry while setting you up for failure. Thanks to her actions her ex husband has done nothing but stalk her and cause problems between her and the child. Because he now knows she was going to take him to court. Shame on you!

With such positive interaction and noting the other reviews that you have to scroll down and click the link to find, I can only assume that the response to the Christa S is one meant for another firm and created in error. Given Harley has a response I did not see a response from Christa which would be normal if properly placed to start. As the many other reviews suggest I would highly recommend Erbe law as they are professional, experienced, and very customer-focused. They communicate very well through the process.

DHS has informed us it may take a few weeks to have the process complete by an Attorney and Judge. We meet with Shayla McCormally on Tuesday. She was very familiar with the DHS adoption process. She was capable of answering all of our questions and put our minds to ease. That following Thursday she meet with our 15 year old Nephew as he had to approve of the adoption. Friday her staff called us to advise they had filed all the necessary paperwork and was able to provide us with dates and times we could meet with the judge! Less than 3 weeks later here we are finalizing the adoption! Shayla was very helpful and educational! Plus she was very fair and did a flat fee for the adoption.
