    Would give 0 stars if I could. Don't don't don't! Terrible service in person and on the phone. What a joke. No cars available right before they close or the previous three hours. They just threw up their arms and said o well. Sent us on a $30 uber ride to our stay. Told us to come back at open. We did. No cars. No help. They have dirty cars but won't clean one for us. Car came in but due to the size we couldn't have it since someone else rented it coming in later...? Now bringing us a car from another location. No pre warning saying "we don't have any cars" so we could try and figure something out. Save your time. Find someone else or rent off location. Both uber drivers say it happens all the time. Locals say it happens all the time. Lady at desk said it happens often. New level of un professionalism. Status doesn't matter to them so don't wait your breath on that.

    -- STAR This Hertz location has been a Nightmare to say the least. Hertz for an unbeknown reason is ACCEPTING online reservations when in FACT they do not have cars readily available for your reserved pick-up time. I had made reservations online a week prior to my work trip and when I arrived Oct 19,21, I was advised by Erika that they had no cars available due to a shortage, I can get put on a list but she had no idea how long the wait would be. Now picture hearing from a person having no empathy to your time or mission. She was extremely dry and dismissive. I tried going to other rentals and they had the same issue. Once I came back to her, I noticed she was giving out cars as they came to others who didn't have a reservation. She said her purpose was because I didn't put myself on a waiting list- knowing she has my contact information, and I was visible. This is the kind of treatment a VIP member at Hertz receives. Then it gets better. I get a car with two pebbles on the glass. Days later they expand and now I'm feeling uncomfortable driving with broken glass. I spent the ENTIRE day going back and forth with Hertz animated phone system trying to get ahold of someone to assist me to switch out cars and NO help. I drive to the location on Nov 2, 21 and I see at least 15 people waiting around and I just knew they were experiencing my same matter. Now there are two ladies basically going off about the customer service and the incompetency of the entire staff with lack of care for their time. Then I see Erika again - breathe... I explain to her the glass situation and her reply is, "it's still drivable so you can either leave the car or get on a waiting list that will get you into a car no later than Thursday. I gave her my information. I decided to go to Herts at the Florida, Baton Rouge location and their professionalism was night to day. They young lady took my information and said she would have a car for me in a few hours and she would contact me once she had the paperwork ready so that all I had to do was switch cars. I recommend for EVERYONE to make the solid reservations over the phone to a different location and just taxi there, it would be cheap and worth your mental state. This LOCATION is absolutely TERRIBLE and needs new management and NEW EVERYTHING. If you choose not to believe this long review - GOOD LUCK LOLOLOL you'll deserve it.

    I turned the car in before hours so no one was there to walk over the return with me and this happened! The tank was 100% full

    Returned car this morning filled it up at the gas station at the airport, dropped it off full! Only to get home from my trip to see a $158.00 fuel charge its a total scam I definitely will be following up but I have to fight now to get my money back!

    Easy to do drop.off. clear signage. Woman was friendly who was on staff. Not busy on a sunday afternoon.

    Had to wait for over two hours even though I had a reservation. Awful business. Will never use them again. Zero stars

First off they gave me a vehicle that was full of roaches…read more However we did not notice until the following day when all of the seats and luggage were covered in creepy crawly ROACHES! The first night we received the vehicle some of the passengers felt something crawl across their feet and legs but thought, hey it's Louisiana, maybe it's just a mosquito of some sort. But we were sadly mistaken when we discovered Roaches crawling all over the vehicle. When calling to advise Avis that we needed a replacement vehicle, they advised that we had to wait two hours for tow (in the rain) before they would replace the vehicle for which we would have to take an Uber back to Avis at the airport, after tow arrived to retrieve a new vehicle. Well since it was 10 pm at night and Avis closed at midnight, if we would have waited, Avis would have been closed by the time we arrived with tow and then we would be stranded without a vehicle. So in shear desperation, we drove this roach invested vehicle 30 mins back to Avis to exchange it for a new vehicle! Now, not only were my plans ruined for the weekend, but the replacement vehicle was too small and not in the same class as the vehicle rented. The whole situation was a big inconvenience. But do you think that Avis cared? NO! They still charged me for two of the four days for the rental even though it was replaced with a vehicle that did not meet my needs. You would think for the inconvenience, the whole rental charge would have been reimbursed. Then after they advised that they would take $200 off of my bill, they still charged my credit card the full amount! What is wrong with this company. No one should have to endure what me and my friends had to endure this past weekend! DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS, BUDGET, OR ANY OF THEIR AFFILIATES! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE DOLLAR!

I didn't drive much and, except for the fuel use charge of ~$33 (much cheaper if I had refilled prior to return), returned the car in the EXACT condition on time. Budget attendant checked out the car, issued the receipt with the fuel charge and we were set to go ... or so I thought. 2.5 weeks later, I noted a charge on my credit card for $334 which, after contacting Costco travel, was due to "glass/windshield damage" which had to be replaced. This was so bogus because such damage would have been obvious to me, my passenger, and the Budget attendant. I called Budget main number and asked for info on the location of the glass/windshield damage. The agent could not provide any information. She offered a one-time "courtesy refund of 50%" but I am still mad as hell for some BS charge. Perhaps Budget Rental is desperate to bring in extra revenue to survive. Beware customers: since it happened to me, it can happen to anyone who returns their car in the same condition, and still get charged for some bogus scam.

Update 1: I have emailed their customer care per their request. My hopes are not high as they have completely ignored a previous complaint about this exact same issue. I will update this review with whatever the outcome may be. PS... I listened to the phone ring non-stop this morning at their Baton Rouge International Airport location for 37 minutes before having to give up. Update 2: No one from this location ever called me. Customer service never called me. The customer service at Enterprise SUCKS! No one cares at all. If I could give them zero stars I would. Spend your money elsewhere.
