We were staying a hotel nearby and stopped by for some wine after dinner at a nearby restaurant. Our experience at Selektion Vinothek was wonderful - from start to finish. The shop/bar is beautiful - it faces the castle, so when we were there in the late evening, we had a wonderful view of the castle lit up just across from Selektion Vinothek. Selektion Vinothek has a menu of food (small plates mostly), wines by the glass, and flights of wine. We each had a flight of wine, with some great Austrian wines. The service was also great - friendly and helpful. And the shop was incredibly well-stocked. If I hadn't been worried about not being able to close my suitcase in two days when we were heading home, I'd certainly have purchased a few more bottles from them. We had some great wine and a great time at Selektion Vinotek. I'd happily return.
