Oh my lord, everything here was so good. We tried a bunch of pastries and honestly everything was perfectly baked. The laminated pastries were insanely good, especially the almond croissant, pretzels, cookies, the coconut-rimmed pastry, and a few others I'm sadly forgetting the names of. The matcha was also delicious and clearly well made, and the cold brew was so good too, $5 for a small cup and totally worth it. They also have a punch card for drinks, which is a nice bonus. Staff was on it and efficient, and the bakery itself feels incredibly well run. Timing definitely matters here. In early May, we got lucky with a shorter line and lots of options around noon on a Saturday. By mid-May, the line was already down the sidewalk around 9 a.m. on a Saturday during Mother's Day weekend. There's no indoor seating, just a couple outdoor tables. What a cute bakery in Bradley Beach! Popped by Sunday morning and there was a small line outside - my neighbor said you've got to get there early for the good stuff, and she was not wrong! It's a grab-and-go sort of place; no seating inside and just two small tables outside. The staff were all friendly. The crossiant, apple handpie, and scone (lemon poppy today) were all fantastic. A place with both great baked goods and coffee? They had a line out the door when I arrived, and it's understandable why. Most people make their purchases to go, but they do have a couple of tables outside and cups to stay, so we want to do that next time we visit. And we'll definitely visit again! We ordered a small brioche bun and a biscuit along with two lattes with oat milk. The brioche bun had pareils of sugar on top, which made it more special. And the biscuit was perfectly rich on the inside and crisp on the outside. And they have one person specifically for coffee. It's a perfect pair. read more

Love the place! My only suggestion would be to label the items. I understand the value of customer interaction, but having to ask about every product can slow the line considerably, especially when the questions are repetitive and often unnecessary. Clear labeling would make the experience more efficient for both customers and staff. Also, if possible, it helps when only the person ordering approaches the counter rather than an entire group, as it keeps traffic moving smoothly. We purchased a cream puff and another pastry and it was $12! Prices were high and quality was not as good as their nearby competitor, Del Pontes. One of the finest bakeries I've ever been to in America. The quality here is on par with bakeries found in major cities in the US and Europe. A young couple owns and bakes and the woman's Mother and some other relatives and friends as best as I can discern handle the customers. i have heard a lot of great things about hey peach from everyone in the bradley community wholeheartedly recommending i try out their pastries despite the long lines and waits. critics are raving type beat. so i went to check it out. the line was out the door but this was expected. when i got in it was small yes and there is no menu up, you simply have to ask for a menu or ask what this is. the options seemed limited but me and my wife decided to try out their blueberry scone, Scottish short bread, madelines, and chocolate chip cookie. i also got an iced matcha. overall everything was alright. i guess now i dont see the hype. i dont want to play devils advocate either. i love agreeing with people and learning of new places to get coffee and a sweet treat. but with the hustle and bustle in life, hey peach offers either a once in a week or once in a blue moon delicacy which is simply not convenient in todays culinary market. think of the immense opportunity cost this place has. expanding the store allowing for indoor lounging and outdoor seating along with a bigger lobby area and menu selection would help HP dominate in the already competitive OCNJ coffee pastry shop scene. but as in all my reviews, i recommend you give every place a shot with an open mind, heart, and tummy. stay vigilant out there Ox heads! -MO read more

OMG! These were the only pastries left at 1:30 pm on Saturday, (they close at 3) so we bought 2, expecting to have half each today and tomorrow. Nope!! Once we took a bite, we couldn't stop. We each ate a whole pastry. They are fabulous!! Now I know why everything else was already gone. This is a relatively new bakery and their reputation for delicious breads and pastries is already in place. The young women who served us were very sweet too (no pun intended). We will absolutely return - earlier in the day - to get one of the breads (and more pastries) listed on their website. Outstanding. We have been here twice, and each time tried new goodies. The breads are so fresh and tasty. We tried the pretzel for the first time today with the stone ground mustard, it was a perfect texture, and taste. The coconut macaroons brought us back for more and the cherry almond scone was superb. Can wait to come back and try new treats. Since the opening in January of this year I have stopped by almost every weekend usually in the afternoon .Since the beginning of the summer they have been sold out of the scones and chocolate croissants, which I normally purchase . I believe they make excellent bread and pastries. I have recommended this place too many people and they all think highly of it and thank me for the recommendation. unfortunately, I can't get there early in the day before they sold out of my favorite goodies.
