I was impressed with how thorough he was in the inspection he provided and caught things that an inspector from a previous termite company failed to catch after multiple visits to my property. When we discovered an additional unexpected issue with subterranean termites after during extensive remodeling of my property, Hi Tech provided a simple and very cost effective solution, blowing the competition out of the water. They offered spot treatment of Termidor in the affected area when other termite companies that I contacted stated they would have to treat the entire property! They were affordable and mobilized quickly to help us resolve this issue. Corey was the technician and did a wonderful job completing the work for me. I was very impressed with the attention to detail, experience level, and professionalism offered by these employees and highly recommend their services! It's always difficult as a homeowner to address unwanted repairs and maintenance, however, Hi Tech made this process much more simple and I learned a lot from them as well. I spoke with the supervisor, Kristin, who after picking up asked if I can hold, and immediately placed me on hold before I was even able to answer. She was very rushed and told me she did not leave a message the last time she called because she had another call coming in. She hung up on me even though I said I had more questions about our appointment. Also, her call was followed by eight restricted-number calls. I requested an inspection with Hi-Tech Termite after my wife and I discovered some small winged insects in our kitchen sink and could not accurately identify them. They were able to schedule a free inspection within just a few days and Syd came out to take a look at our condo. He called ahead to inform me he was on his way and showed up right on time, was very kind and courteous and immediately inspected the area and photos we had taken and was able to identify that we did not have a termite infestation, thankfully. He still offered to take a look in our attic and found nothing there as well. It was a false alarm, but Syd's expert knowledge and abundant information gave us peace of mind. Syd was enthusiastically helpful and very professional despite the fact that we did not require further service. This is the definition of good business that begins with relationships and character. I just want to thank Hi-Tech Termite Control and in particular one of their inspector's David Biacsi. To say that David is simply a consummate professional would do him a disservice because he's MUCH more than that. Hi-Tech was the 3rd company that we received a bid from and in all honesty it was David's care to detail, his empathy in addition to the knowledge that he displayed which ultimately won us over into deciding to go with his company. He thoroughly explained the entire process including walking me around our property and then began to not only show the damage that he found but more importantly how he specifically planned on repairing it. Which included NOT simply using wood bonding epoxy repairing techniques but actually REPLACING all the damaged wood with WOOD! In fact, he put together a competitive bid on that same day! Our damage was moderately extensive (not as bad as some but more than we initially realized) in any event David's repair crew was AMAZING (a gross understatement) it took approx. 3 days to complete all of the work due to the extent of the damage, but I can honestly tell you that our home looked as good if not better than when purchased back in 92' (seriously). The bottom line is if your home needs a termite inspection, termite reconstruction, or anything else termite eradication related... You need to ask for David Biacsi specifically... My wife & I and are certainly glad that we were fortunate enough to get him to help us. read more

I hired Hi-Tech to do a home termite inspection in connection with a VA refinance. I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly with no hassles. On the date of my inspection, the technician was on time, courteous and utilized proper PPE (due to covid-19 safety precautions). He was friendly, professional and completed his inspection in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, a great experience. After my inspection I did have some confusion with my report and the GM of the company reached out to clarify some of my questions. This showed great professionalism and integrity on their part and is indicative of a company that wants to earn your business. Although, I ultimately chose another company for my repairs (due to scheduling convenience), I would confidently reccomend them based on their excellent commitment to customer service. read more

Do not trust this business. They subcontracted a company Quality Pest Control to tent and fumigate my house in San Diego. After the fumigation there was a break in and valuables were stolen. After checking my outdoor cameras it was obvious that it his was an inside job from one of the workers. Avoid or be very careful if contemplating using this service. read more

Turned up on time, only checked the outside of the house and didn't even look in the attic or check the sink areas in the house. Noted a number of small areas where we had a problem. My issue is with the outrages cost to repair these guys quoted, nearly $5k to repair a small number of areas on the facia on one side to our house, and a few other areas. I ended up getting another company to come out who charged me a fraction of what Hi Tech Termite charged. #rip off read more

We used HI TECH Termite about 5 years ago to spot treat for a termite infestation on the back of our house. David was awesome about explaining the situation and recommendation to remedy the problem. Recently, our quarterly pest control service said they noticed recent termite damage and suggest thousands of dollars in repairs and fumigation. I knew that if we needed to re-treat, I wanted to use HI TECH Termite. David came back out this morning, assessed the situation and let us know that we are still in good shape from the treatment 5 years ago. No need for immediate repairs or additional spot treatment at this time. The damage was actually from the original infestation 5+ years ago and became visible with paint thinning. They were great! Especially during this pandemic. Steve came with his mask on and gave us an estimate and explained all the different options. I felt that they were the most reliable since they do all different kinds from fumigate, orange oil, microwave, and more. Other fumigation companies told me I had to fumigate but Steve said we didn't need too. They were able to use the microwave with termidor in affected areas and warranty the whole house for 3 years. Which was half the cost! Plus I didn't have to worry about all the headache that comes with tenting your house! Then Frank came with his mask and shoe coverings, and he did an excellent job getting rid of all the termites! I highly recommend these guys! read more

Great option for thorough spot treatment using family and pet safe methods that don't require nasty home tenting (which won't kill termites in egg stage). Pricing was reasonable (middle of the 3 quotes). I selected them because their treatment regimen is the most advanced with Microwave (fries termites in the wall without drilling) + Altriset (natural plant derived with lasting effect) + Orange Oil (safe for people, kills termites on contact) + Fiber Optics (view inside walls when needed). They wiped out several infestations in 2016, gave me a clean bill of health in 2017, and will come back in 2018 for my 2nd annual re-treatment after I spotted 1 unwanted live termite marching around in my home office. read more

I used Home Advisor to identify companies that handle pest control in my area. Four companies showed up and Hi-Tech Pest Control was one with highest rating. However, I sent requests to all four companies that showed up on the Home Advisor web site. And Charity Waldman, the Hi-Tech Pest Control office manager called me within two hours of my online request. The call was very professional, asking all of the right questions in a very pleasant manner. The other three pest control companies either didn't respond or did respond about two or three days after my online request. Steve Barton of Hi-Tech Pest Control came to my house and introduced himself and explained what he would do during the house inspection. I can't say enough about the high quality and friendly service I received from Hi-Tech Termite Control. As it turned out, my problem was not with swarming termites but flying ants in my attic and water damage to my back porch posts. He found one small isolated area that had a start to dry wood termite damage. At the end of the inspection. Steve explained that their wasn't a major problem that I couldn't correct on my own. He gave me the option of using his company for repairing and correcting all of the problems noted or correcting the problem on my own. I am extremely satisfied with Hi-Tech Termite Control's quick response and service. We interviewed many termite companies and they gave us very, very different advice. Some suggested to tent just because the house is empty, some suggested to treat for subterranean even though none were found in the house. High Tech was like day and night different. Regional Manager , i think David, came out and took his time to explain and look very thoroughly everywhere. He was the only one to find a note from previous termite tenting from a few years ago. He used a local and least toxic ( per our request) treatment and charged a reasonable fee. read more

This company is simply the best. They did a thorough inspection of our 2 story home and gave us several options for termite treatment. Their prices were considerably less than other estimates we received and their warranty is a year longer. We were able to stay in our house during the treatment and have not seen any termite droppings since (it's been over 2 months). They will also come out each year during the warranty to check and treat any new infestations at no charge. Their customer service and follow up is incredible. We found evidence of termites only in our built-in den cabinet and nowhere else in the house. We ordered estimates from 3 termite companies. The first company recommended treating the entire house. The second company briefly inspected only the cabinet and recommended treating it locally. Jeff Whitcomb from Hi-Tech did the third inspection. He was incredibly thorough, inspecting the cabinet, the circumference of the house and under the house. He communicated his findings clearly and completely and said that he could only find evidence of termites in the cabinet. He then gave us a choice of treating the entire house or just the cabinet. We decided to treat just the cabinet, and, although his price was slightly higher than the second company, we chose Hi-Tech, because we appreciated his honesty and thoroughness. We ran into some termite issues a couple of years ago, and we decided to go with HiTech Termite, because we really appreciated that they didn't depend on harsh chemicals to deter termites and that they offered multiple alternative options for treatment, we liked their price point, we wouldn't have to move ourselves, plants, or cat, and we liked that they included a warranty with the work. We were really happy with their service, so a little over a year later, when we decided to sell our house. We reached out to have a pre-inspection completed by them since the work was still under warranty. We began to hit some snags and communication issues. We became pretty frustrated since it was such a stark contrast to our last experience with them, and were ready to drop HiTech and go with another company just to get our house ready to close. At this point, John, the newer owner of the San Diego area branch reached out to us. He had recently taken control of the San Diego area after successfully leading the Bay Area Branch. He was going to be in town to clear up some issues and set some new standards to match the quality of service he'd already established up north. He promised to take care of our repairs and get us to closing on time and he 100% followed through. His team was very polite and professional, and they did a great job and ultimately enabled us to close on time! We totally understand that we are all human and mistakes can be made, and at the end of the day I prefer to do business with companies who can own their mistakes and do what they can to make up for it. From the first phone call to follow-up weeks later, the employees at HiTech Termite have been most polite, helpful and responsive. Charity, the Office Manager, promptly returns calls with patience and understanding. The gentlemen who tented the house and removed the tent were above and beyond thorough and thoughtful. They were punctual with arrival each time. Thy checked the house inside and out, removed a couple of food items and plants which were forgotten and then locked the house carefully. I wrote a review about 2 and a half years ago when I first had HI Tech come to my house. They gave a 3 year warranty on their work, so earlier this week when I spotted the tell-tale droppings of more termites, I gave them a call. Before the week was up, a technician was at my door! I gave the company 5 stars the first time they came out and I'm giving them 5 stars again! Adam, a really nice guy who'd been with the company about 2 years, was my technician. He was efficient in treating the area in need with the appropriate chemical and microwave machine and patched the tiny holes he had to make in the wall. He vacuumed up as he went along and even wore booties over his shoes to prevent tracking anything. He answered my questions and explained what he was doing as he went along - because inquiring minds want to know! I think Hi-Tech is doing well and they deserve it! I really wish everyone would use them instead of the toxic poisons contained in the "circus tents" we see on neighborhood homes, don't you? read more

While their quote is higher than all the other quotes, I believe they will do a great job and deliver on their promises.
