This pharmacy is generally good and there are nice staff there but there was one employee in particular who was extremely rude and obnoxious to me personally. My local pharmacy was unable to provide my special needs daughter with one tablet in particular and I had to ring all pharmacies near me to see if they had that tablet in stock and Hickey's Pharmacy in Phibsboro had it. I contacted them and they were able to provide it to me as long as I gave them my daughter's prescription (since it wasn't my go to pharmacy). There was a problem with the prescription and the pharmacist woman talked to me so rudely and looked at me with such a disgust. Now, I understand that I needed to resolve the prescription problem which I eventually did, but that woman did not help me in the least, my daughters GP's receptionist even spoke to the employee (which the employee refused to cooperate and understand). The employee demanded my daughters original prescription (from the specialist doctor) which was already given to the GP and my local pharmacist TWO YEARS AGO! The employee made such a big deal over nothing and because of not being able to get the original prescription (which she didn't need) she refused to give me my daughters medication. If my daughter does not get her medication then her seizures could be fatal leading her to being hospitalized or even worse. She was willing to let that happen to my daughter. Keep in mind that this is a couple of days before Christmas and if I failed to receive her medication the next time would have been in January which is too late and impossible to wait. Of course after panicking, worrying and literally crying in front of the whole pharmacy, I managed to get my daughters medication. That employee was completely rude, non understanding, and constantly chewing her gum in disinterest. I understand she needed the right prescription (but not original one!) but she showed no empathy and no care. Because of people like her the whole store value went down which is a great disappointment because there are other nice and caring employees there. So who am I talking about in particular? A curly haired girl with her non stop chewing gum. read more
