Please do not rent or buy 39L! There is extensive water damage from them not replacing the roof for a year and a half with rain pouring in through my window. The floor is falling through in the kitchen. I dealt with so many issues that never got properly taken care of. For a whole year they knew the air conditioner was too small for that unit and I pushed for a new one. They finally installed one a year later. They would repair holes in the wall they created by putting a plastic covering over it. If you notice a slight difference in the wall of the bathroom next to the shower... its cause maintance broke my faucet and had to repair it. He put an electrical panel over the hole he had to make to be able to repair it. They tried to blame everything on me and I will probably end up paying for it. I believe they are trying to sell it because they dont want to pay for the repairs that should of been done before I moved in. I dealt with a hole over my window in the living room for a year because they couldnt figure out why water was pouring in through my window. Recently, I was awakened by a knock at my front door. It was John, the maintenance/repair man for Hickory Creek. He informed me that my back yard was flooded due to a separation in a pipe underneath my home. I was upset and did not know what to do to fix it. All I could do was burst into tears. John became my "Angel Sent from Above"! He helped me by turning off my water and fixing the piping on the same day. He did it from his heart which totally melted mine. He refused compensation from me. I am so grateful to have him here looking out for me and all of the other residents in this community. The community is Poorly taken care of until the owners are coming and it's the most I've seen them now paint trim trees. Now we will see if the pool will be opened at all this summer! I was told to remove my ac unit seeing it's a leasing violation. I did but I can still drive around and homes with ac units in their windows right now! If you enjoy people running a car business out of their driveway at the back of the park causing noise throughout the night and always after office hours and nothing being done. Messes being washed under your cars, people tearing down their cars with parts all over, dirty oil left out, yard never gets mowed then this might be a good place otherwise no it's not. Do not move here! The management is terrible. They will slap a band aid on your home to make it seem nice only for it to fall apart. Rent has gone up 3 times since we have been here. It took 3 yesrs just to get screens in the windows. It took 3 years to get a shed, that we have to pay 50 extra bucks for. We are trying to buy the house, but will probably end up moving because of stephanie. She is making it miserable as she can for us. And even for her office people. I have heard her say 'harass them'....while she hudes in her iffice...and they do just that starting on the 3rd. She hates working with people... and she refuses to waive any late fees, knowing we are having a hard enough time.. she lies constantly, threatening to repo our home, when we are ni Annette close to having the home repoed... it sucks being constantly threatened of losing our home, just because she does not like her job. Takes months to fix issues; notice to vacate placed on door for not paying rent AFTER check cleared bank Twice; Appears wonderful at first After nightmare. 14 month lease. The will only allow Charter ( the only cable company to provide service ) Not Dish nor Direct TV. Office manager is never in office . Issues are not handled in a timely manner. Been living here for almost a year now. I have had so many problems (maintenance) they have only fixed one thing out of like 6. And yet, the thing they did fix, doesn't work. There towing rules are absolutely ridiculous. My car got egged and keyed and the office didn't do anything about that. Not satisfied with the lack of response to maintenance issues. Messages seem to be ignored and when you do follow up with a complaint they act like your the only one that has a problem. When we first moved in it took them almost 3 months to fix our AC. Mind you it was Summer time and we hand our teenagers home. They were miserable. We called constantly. The ticket would be closed out without the job being completed. Code Compliance!!! Yep, Almost! We're so done.
