I attended a community event here and was super impressed with the facility. It's located on Mingo between 31st & 41st. The event had a great turnout and all the parking spots were taken but there's additional parking next door by the soccer fields. There is a park in front of the community center and there are tennis courts as well (although they need maintenance, some of them didn't have nets). There's also a great playground and picnic shelters as well as being connected to a walking trail that goes into the Fulton neighborhood. There's a beautiful butterfly garden right by the entrance with nectar producing flowers. Inside, the community center has a fitness center, full size gym, and classrooms for arts & crafts, dance classes and other activities. They provide year-around programming that includes fitness classes, arts and crafts, sports leagues (like pickleball) special events, senior programs, and youth day camp.
