Overpriced medicine? Check. Sketchy individuals sitting on the bench outside the front door? Check. Questionable laundromat? Check. 80's muscle car parked at an angle in the lot? Check. Yep, this gas station has it all. And I really couldn't ask for anything more. It is within walking distance. It is open really late. It has a free air pump. The clerks are always super nice. And it was the only place that carried the promo Diet Mountain Dew bottles, for the win! So even though it is stereotypically a pretty standard quickie-mart, it is *MY* stereotypically pretty standard quickie-mart. Hico Village - the front of a hicomart store - Gas Stations Near Me - Spokane Valley, Washington

The employees were actually super friendly towards me every time I've ever been inside this gas station. But, when one pack of cigarettes are normally $10 at MOST here in Spokane, I just paid OVER $12 for ONE pack. I about had a heart attack. Hico hikes their prices... I have not been back since. Unfortunately.. no fun paying that much when you can pay $17 for TWO packs at Fred Meyer, if you have a rewards card. I think that's why I about pooed myself... read more

Old heavy manager lady is cranky and unfriendly. She scolded me for using the contact-less payment reader they have, saying it doesn't work. I have used on multiple visits at this location and it works fine and take the money out my account perfectly. Because of her I will take my $10+ dollar a day purchases to The Maverick that seems to have their act together. Sorry Terri your boss has blown it. read more

If I could give this less than one star I would. I used their laundromat for some heavy sleeping bags. When I walked in, a large woman and man were counting the change from the machine. I needed their large machine where each load is $9.00. I had 4 loads so needed $40 in quarters since they haven't caught up to the 21st century yet. They said I needed change from the front counter. No problem except the front counter could only take $10 out at one time, so they said I need to come back every five minutes for more. Twenty minutes to just get change? I started putting money in the first machine and when I reached $9, it still said I needed $1 more. When I told the man and woman, they acted like I was annoying them. He came over to look at it and couldn't figure it out and walked away. Then I heard them talking about me and the woman said " we've got a little attitude do we?" The man came back and I said I just want my money back. He said he wouldn't give it to me, pushed some buttons and started the machine. I took the rest of my dirty laundry back to my car. No way in hell was I washing it there. While I was making my trips back to my car, They kept talking about me sarcastically. I hated waiting 35 minutes for my one load. Rude, condescending people. Dirty place to boot. Don't go here. read more
