Initially I spoke with Robert and booked the appointment the night before, he was kind and very helpful, and a pleasure to meet in person. I was a bit nervous but so eager to get on a horse for the first time and appreciated Robert's guidance, as to not let the horse know I was nervous, and ride with confidence and peace. There were a couple moments when I was scared, but replayed his words in my head, took some deep breaths and took back control of the situation. The trail paths were beautiful and full of lush greenery, some which might whip you in the face depending on how the horse is feeling. Be sure to get to your appointment early to sign your waiver, and bring a camera or phone on trial so you can get photos. read more

We were visiting from California and Maps took us to their winter location so we called to let them know we'd be about 45mins late, and they were so accommodating! Marissa was our guide and she paired us perfectly with our horses! She really made us feel comfortable and even captured some great pics and videos for us while we focused on directing our horses and enjoying the scenery. 10 out of 10 experience! We went on the 4 hour ride and it was beautiful. We had 5 in our group and the horses were incredible, I felt very comfortable and two in our party were pretty nervous but Erik made everyone feel at ease. Throughout the entire trip the horses were very well mannered and we rode some steep inclines and went down some pretty steep hills. We also crossed a stream at one point and through it all the horses were great. Tucker was the favorite. Thank you Erik for a making it so incredible. From the moment we got there we knew the horses weren't dead broke like we were told. We aren't cowboys but this also was by far not the first time on a horse. Either way we decided to go ahead and ride with another group of people because my mom had already paid the money. Long story short on our way back down my horse had decided she had enough of me being on her. She bucked me off, now mind you my husband was on top of the hill. He got off his horse and made it to me before the guy (running this situation) who was at the bottom of the hill already. My head hit the ground first then my back and I lost my breath completely. To keep my husband from loosing it on the man and in front of all of the people. I just told him we can just walk back. So that's what we did. So long story short stay the heck away from these people and their horses that AREN'T broke. It's a scam and he's a liar. read more
