I can't sing enough good praises about this business. I've had my fence almost three years and it was the best decision I made when I got my puppy. About a year ago, I couldn't find Cooper's collar. After a few short days, I called HFC to order a new collar cause I exhausted all parts of my home. The girl kindly reassured me that I probably had some juice in the battery and gave me instructions on how to hopefully locate it. To my surprise it was in my husbands backpack. Ugh! This past weekend, the main unit was beeping. Long story short, a surveillance company (House being sold 3 doors down) cut the wire. HFC came right out and fixed the wire for us. Mike 2, was very thorough in his communication with me of how he'd locate the broken wire and what he'd do to fix it. He did a great job covering up the hole after he dug it up. We first used this company 30 years ago. At the time we bought a training collar for the dog we had then. In 2004 had a hidden fence install for our two labs. At that time the wire wasn't put underground in a few high traffic areas. Over time the years the wire broke and I patched it many times. Now we have a new Bernese Mt dog puppy who doesn't listen very well yet. We live on a dead end by a school but some of the neighbors still like to drive 50 or 60 mph on a 25mph road. Today the guy came to install a new wire. He spent a lot of time to get it just right. He ran late and had another appointment so he asked if it would be ok to come back tomorrow to make sure we understood how to use the collar properly. If you want to keep your puppy's safe then I would highly recommend this company.!! I'm not giving 5 stars because I don't understand why the older wire couldn't have been repaired? They told me they had to install a new wire the old one might be no good. Which isn't the case. The wire is only broken in two places. One where they never buried it and across our new driveway. read more

Poor communication skills and business practices. After a visit from the tech, I called no fewer than five times for clarification on the quote for the fence we hoped to have installed, only to have to leave voicemails as no one ever seems to be available to answer the phone. In addition, instead of a call back I received cryptic emails and texts that did not answer my questions. They require that the quote is paid in full before they will even schedule the work, but the image sent to me for the potential fence included enclosing my neighbors house and the town retention basin in our fenced in area. I highly recommend Hidden Fence. I had my hidden fence installed more than 10 years ago. I rarely have problems, but when I do, Hidden Fence is quick to make repairs. Last week, (during the Coronavirus/ social distancing) I emailed Hidden Fence to let them know that 1 of my dog collars was not working. I have 2 dogs, and the other collar was fine. Rich, the owner of Hidden Fence called me. He asked me to put the collar on my front porch, and a technician would come by in about 15 minutes. The technician came to my house, picked up the collar on the porch, fixed the collar in the driveway, and put it back on my porch. From a safe distance of 10 feet, he explained all the steps he took to keep the collar clean (i.e. washing his hands before picking up the collar, and again before he dropped it off on my porch.) There was no charge for the repair. This company gets 5 stars for customer service! Even during a national pandemic they stand behind their product! read more

I have to say what great customer service this group provides. I had stopped using my dog's collar for quite some time as she was good staying within her fence boundaries. However after a couple of times this week walking past the line, we realized she needed to wear her collar again. Unfortunately the battery was dead and last night I ordered 3 new ones and indicated that we needed them ASAP. (It was a drop down box option online). By 11am today a person arrived at my door with the replacement batteries. Even Amazon couldn't delivery an order that quick. Very impressive!! read more

Get EVERYTHING in writing before you use Hidden Fence. We had a preexisting invisible fence that was put in 11 years ago but had been broken in a few places due to a neighbor removing trees. We wanted to fix what we had but Rich "sales talked" us into putting a whole new system in. The first appointment we had - we waited for three hours and no one showed up- when I called they said I must of had them confused with another fence estimate company (this was the only company I called because of positive reviews). Then when they did come and the tech looked at everything (about 45 minutes) we ended up being on the phone with Rich while he convinced us to use all new material (that was about 20 minutes). Rich said he had to charge us for his tech's time there (understandable) but the $149.00 charge would come off our final bill if we used them to install fence. He also told us he was going to give us a 25% discount. The tech installed the invisible fence and when it came time for the bill he said he had to call Rich regarding the $149.00 since it was not on invoice to be taken off. The invoice also had the installation charge of $650.00 (and he had quoted us $750.00). When he called Rich and we spoke he said that he never said the $149.00 would be taken off and told the tech that our bill was $750.00 (I guess not the "normal" charge that was already on the invoice so the tech had to go into bill and change this). So, basiscally Rich sells you on the "discount" but then adds fees back in- in our case it was $250.00. I urge you to have them put all fees in writing because they will tell you they did not say it. We have certainly learned our lesson! Also, it has been one week since installation and no one has even called to see how our dog's training is going and/or offer support/advice. The only reason I gave one star is because the tech's were nice. We regret not calling other invisible fence companies and recommend that you do, along with getting a written estimate (our other mistake). read more
