TRASH HEAP If I could give negative stars, I certainly would. First off my partner and I are tent campers- I found this place online and sad but true did NOT read any reviews or do a deep dive. LET ME SAVE YOU TIME!!! This place is SCARY..... If you are female, have kids... DO NOT COME HERE!!! It is dirty, dangerous, run down, sketchy af..... I do enjoy poking around old abandoned places that I shouldn't be quite often. This place- IS NOT ONE OF THEM. The site we had was just large enough for our tent , 2 chairs and a fire ring. Broken glass everywhere- and 1 site away was what appeared to be a abandoned rv/ half busted-- and 2 others on a hill above us and to the right that were propped up by jacks and trash... We had wanted to spend the night together, the next day, pick up six children from our family and camp. We set up our tent and decided to stay make dinner and immediately call around to find with our fingers crossed a campground that was family friendly. We did. Thank god. Seriously.
