After a lovely drive through the windy roads of west cork we arrived in the evening to be greeted by David and Elizabeth. It was great to meet them both on their own land and they showed us around. The location is beautiful being a close drive to Drimoleague village while at the same time being remote and quiet. They have ducks, chickens, sheep and cows on site as well as a beautiful dog named Daisy. They have on site showers and bathrooms as well as a games room, laundry and kitchen. There were many families there when we stayed and you can see as it is ideal as well as for couples or singles who need some relaxation. The pods them self are beautiful and very well insulated and cosy. Nice and minimalistic with little distractions so you can relax. I will definitely be returning to stay again.

Often people just come solo to take time out on their own. For the adventure enthusiast, there is walking, cycling and cross country running in the challenging landscape surrounding us. Our working cattle farm with its sheep, hens and ducks is a hive of interest for young and old alike, and you will enjoy meeting our dog "Daisy". Pods are new to this island, and our Pod Páirc is the first of its kind in Ireland. We have seven pods, with different levels of comfort and space to Pods/Accommodation suit your particular needs. Our pods were originally designed by UK engineer Ian Bone who was inspired by early Christian structures such as the Gallarus Oratory beyond Dingle, Co Kerry many years ago.
