I ordered the Pollinator pizza. It has olive oil and garlic glaze, salami, spicy capicola, cup, and cup pepperoni, banana peppers, topped with Mike's hot honey. I ordered it well done so the crust was nice and crispy. There was only a few banana peppers on it, so would have liked more. If I would order this pizza again, I would ask for extra banana peppers. I did not care for the 50-50 basket of fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks. There was no flavor to the mushrooms and breading was mushy. The mozzarella sticks barely had any cheese inside. Started in Stillwater and now with 25+ locations across Oklahoma. The fried mushrooms are amazing every-time! This time we got the pollinator pizza , which was a monthly special and now on the permanent menu. We also got the aporkalypse pizza, which is back again on the monthly specials menu. Had never heard of Hideaway Pizza before moving to Tulsa in late 2017. Having experienced some excellent pizza establishments in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Kansas City, I was concerned I would be unable to find a suitable pizza establishment in Tulsa. To my pleasant surprise, Hideaway hits the spot on many levels. The casual pizza place, which has a very nice dim ambiance about it, has a variety of different and unique topping combinations, crust types, and alternative menu items. We typically start with a garlic cheese bread or garlic knots appetizer, which fills us up enough to permit us to order a smaller pizza than usual. From the "Aporkalypse" to the "Capone" to the "Big Dump", I like to switch things around with every visit for the sake of variety. Never disappointed with the pizza, except if I did have ONE COMMENT that I would ask of Hideaway it would be to work on thinning out their thin crust pizza as it is very close to a regular hand tossed in terms of thickness. Service at Hideaway is typically very good, especially when we are fortunate enough to get "Chance" who works at the Tulsa Hills location. He's by and far one of the kindest, most professional waiters of all the Hideaway staff. Having him serve us is always a pleasure. Drinks are always filled, order is always correct, and we are always pleased at the end of our meal. Fix that thin crust and you'll get 5-stars every time! read more

This is the best American pizza I have had. I really enjoyed it. We live in Minnesota and we always make it a priority to stop here and eat when in the area. For an appetizer we got the 50/50. It's a mix of their homemade deep fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks. For the main dish I hot an everything pizza and my wife got a chicken Alfredo pasta. My wife said her pasta was ok but needed garlic. Our server was good and came by multiple times throughout the meal. For drinks she got a Dr. Pepper and I got a beer. Stopped by this Hideaway location for lunch and has an amazing lunch. First let me say that the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is a home run. Possibly my new favorite sandwich in Tulsa. Easily in the top two for sure. The heat level coming out of the chicken is good (the only improvement would be that it could be spicer, but that's totally just my own personal preference). I got a side salad and it was all fresh and on point. The Nurse got their new Southwest salad, also from their new items menu and was pleased with it overall. The chipotle ranch dressing os next level and might become one of our staple condiments that we keep at home. On top of all of this, our server Gabe was pro level in the service industry. Lunchtime! We shared the medium Paradise Pie today. It was perfect, I ate three slices and forced myself to stop before I ate four (saved that for later) :) . Their fried mushrooms are what I enjoy as the appetizer and finished with the frozen lemonade pie. Everything was (as my kids would say) "on fleek!" You really can't go wrong with a solid local pizza chain like the hideaway. They have a really great menu with lots of options for pizzas but you can just order, but also have plenty of options if you want to build your own pizza. The salads are great, and I hear that the baked pastas and the sandwiches are also very tasty. They have regular lunch specials during the week, so that's a great time to come and try out different things. I like that non-soda drinks come in a cup to take home-not common for restaurants to do that anymore, but we love the cups. read more

Hideaway uses all fresh ingredients with great crusts, including two different gluten-free crust (one is cauliflower which is my favorite type of crust). This place has a great variety of pizza. Come eat at this truly unique to Oklahoma establishment check out the kites hanging from the ceiling. We asked to be seated in the bar area as there were several large families in the main dining area. We were given menus by the hostess and seated quickly. We sat for 10 minutes just 2 tables from the bar and never received a visit from anyone. Not even a glance. I have no idea why no one came to our table. If they were short staffed that is not my problem. We walked out and told the hostess no one had waited on us and she just said ok. When we were being seated, there was a waiter taking someone's order, he was standing in the middle of the aisle, so my family and I couldn't get by, I said excuse me several times before he finally scooted up a literal step, making my family and I weave around him....and he ended up being our waiter. ‍ He was very short with us and when he brought our pizzas, he just dropped them on the table and walked away! The last 2 times we went to this location we had horrible service. Our server disappeared for a good half hour after we ordered and never brought the kid dough requested (both visits). Half of our order was not put in so we had to wait 45 minutes after the rest of our party finished their food to eat ours. Every Hideaway I've been too has always been excellent. But this one was special in 2 ways. Walked in and was greeted by Curtis, I gave Curtis my usual sarcastic humor and he was professional and replied very appropriately and on point to match my humor. While waiting for my 9 top table, he occasionally engaged with us and even introduced his sense of humor which was absolutely perfect. The next and equally best thing at this Hideaway was Rachel, our amazing waitress. I started off trying to describe a pizza I wanted and was gonna build my own and she recommended an off the menu pizza that was exactly what I was trying to order but would cost less because it was being charged per topping; I told her I trusted her and let's make this happen. She then asked me what type of crust I wanted and she took control and recommended the crust for this unique pizza and reminded me that I said I trusted her. So I trusted her with the crust and it was perfect. Also note, not a single person at our 9 top had an empty glass during the entire meal, she was Johnny on the spot with refills.
