Last month I dropped off my SUV to have a body repair and paint correction on a 8 inch section of my bumper. The work completed was amazing although the $6k price didn't make sense. The ONLY issue I had with the service was how interior trim pieces of my car were removed and not reinstalled when I picked up my car. Even my tire jack kit was removed from its compartment and not replaced. I had to take my car to the manufacturer lot to have them show me where everything goes and fits. This is my only complaint about Higgins. For $6k they could've at least put pieces back. read more

If you can help it, do not take your vehicle here, especially if going through insurance. Essentially quoted insurance OEM costs and literally replaced a headlight that doesn't match the undamaged original and costs half of what OEM does. Panels don't line up, parts coming loose within 1 month. Really wish I had not gone through them after being hit. read more

I've worked with Higgins Body & Paint on several occasions. Their staff is super friendly and helpful and their quality is second to none. With my last repair, they had to replace a quarter panel on my Acura. When it was done, you couldn't even tell the repair from the factory original. To boot, the color is a pearl white which is very difficult to match. Without a bit of hesitation, I'd recommend Higgins to everyone. Tues 12/1/2020 Got in an accident, other driver at fault! GEICO referred me to Higgins. Wed 12/2/2020 Was able to take my car in at 8:30am at WVC. Rolled car into garage, got to see better the damage. Enterprise Rent A Car next door with rental waiting for me; out by 9am with rental. Got an estimate of repairs by 3pm 12/09/2020 Car was supposed to be ready on 12/08/2020 but they found suspension damage during alignment. Expected completion time 12/11/2020 12/11/2020 Car not ready as of Friday. Have to wait until Monday for update. 12/14/2020 Called me 8:30am that my car is ready for pickup! The work was flawless! 5 stars for the quality of service and work done on my car. My experience was I had to wait a bit longer than expected but they did a great job and was organized with me and the insurance. I hope I never get into an accident again. Spare tire missing, lower engine shield missing, charged for fender decals that we never had. Over spray on plastic covers inside the truck, pinched wire harness for trailer lights. The body work itself looked great. Found my stuff in a pile on the back lot getting rained on. There must be a better place than this for body repairs. read more

I went in @ 4:15 for an estimate. The girl behind the counter said they didn't take estimates after 4:00 pm. I asked, can I make an appt? She told me to call and make an appt. She was sitting there on her phone,, I called and was unable to leave a msg as voice mail was full. Rude customer service! I'll go elsewhere! Higgins replaced my bumper and didn't bolt the skid plate back on. It caught on a curb upon backing up & caused damage that they won't do anything about after I brought my car back in to show them. They're officially sending me back to my insurance company, which is who I had to deal with to get the repair done by them months ago. Zero accountability here! I was told by the receptionist that I had to bring the car in person and that they would handle the new damage directly without having me deal with my insurance again. I have 24 hours involved in driving my car back to UT for absolutely no reason now! Thank god my insurance is covering me but I'm definitely picking a different shop and will be telling everyone I know in UT to avoid Higgins. read more

I had an 8 AM appointment to get an estimate, set early so that I could make it to work on time. I arrived at 8:02 and pulled right into the estimate lane inside the building. The woman at the desk told me that everyone was in a meeting, so I should have a seat in the waiting room and they'd be right out to get me. At 8:15 AM having seen no one, I went back to the desk to remind them that I was there, and was told that they were still in a meeting, and it would be another 5 minutes. I informed them that I had made an appointment for 8 AM, which was important in that it would allow me to be at work on time. I also reminded them that they had sent me text the previous night reminding me of that appointment time, and asking me to do them the courtesy of contacting them if I couldn't make my appointment time. Her response was to offer that I could reschedule if I wanted. Yes, that's right. Despite having a confirmed appointment time, they kept me waiting for 20 minutes (and wanted me to continue to wait) because they were having an internal staff meeting, and the response was that I should schedule a new appointment time, write this morning off, and do it all over again including the 20 minute drive. Keep in mind that the shop opens at 8 AM, so there wasn't some backlog of other customers in front of me. I was the very first vehicle that had arrived this morning. I asked to speak to the owner or manager to make sure there wasn't some confusion at the front desk. The receptionist went back to a room I could see where several people were sitting around, and came back and said that he would be out in several minutes. I asked who it was that day, and low and behold it was Jake Higgins (I assume either the owner or his son). At that point I gave up and left. If you, like me, want to take your business to a place that respects your time and appreciates your business, Higgins Body & Paint is not that place. Great shop with fantastic customer service. My car was rear-ended last year and they made the whole process super easy. A rental was arranged and they handled all of the transportation to and from the rental car place. But then, a few days ago, (1 year and half later) one of the parking sensors embedded in the rear bumper became lose and was rattling around in the bumper. I called them, explained the issue. The woman on the phone didn't even ask any questions. She said just said bring it over tomorrow morning and we'll take care of it. When my wife arrived the next morning, they arranged transportation to her work, and then dropped off our vehicle at our house in the afternoon. No charge and our car is repaired. They were excellent to work with. Customer service was top notch and I highly recommend you talk with Moroni. He is very professional and capable. The service was done in 3 business days. Excellent work. When I got my Subaru back it was a lot cleaner than when I dropped it off. Inside was super clean. Even my rubber mats were cleaned. I didn't expect it. Everything went well. The building and especially the service area had a lot of memories for me. I used to bring my Ford Ranger here for years! Anyway, the employees with Higgins and Geico were very good. I was kind of stressed during this period, so I might have come across as highly assertive. My experience with Higgins was nothing short of great. I had a car that I was looking to buy which had a reported accident on the CarFax. Jake at Higgins talked with me on the phone and said they were busy, but they would take a look at the car for me since I was only in town for a few days. They were able to figure out the car hadn't ever been in an accident, but that the VIN had been swapped over from the totaled car to this one that was a flood damage vehicle. Jake called me back and gave me all the news which probably saved me a ton of money due to sub par repairs made to the car. Same day service, and probably one of the better experiences I have every had with anything related to vehicles. If he cared that much about following up on a car that wasn't even in their shop, imagine the customer service for a car being worked on by Higgins. read more

I took my car in for repairs; it needed a paint job on one of the doors. I was very anxious about getting it repaired as, while not a new car, it was new to me. I had only had my car for a few months when is sustained damage. I spoke with Brian and he eased my anxieties. He suggested that both doors be pained to ensure that the color match would be accurate. Higgins did such a fantastic job!! You would never have known there would there was damage. The icing on the cake was that Higgins completely detailed the inside of my car as well. I was so happy to see that as it was much needed and looked awesome. They even managed to give it that new care smell again. I had the misfortune of needing to find someone to repaint the bumper of my car. On the recommendation of a family member, I came here for an estimate. You can drive up and get an estimate quickly, and they'll explain anything you want to know about the estimate and repairs/body work. I had gotten estimates at other shops, and their estimate was spot on to others I had received, so they know their stuff. They worked really well with the other insurance company and promptly sent the estimate over to get the process going. The day they asked me to bring my car in, they didn't waste any time getting started so that I could get it back sooner than later. The office manager sent me an email when they started working on my car, and he followed up with a phone call when it was completed two days later. When I picked it up, not only did it look great, but they had vacuumed my entire car, too. I couldn't even tell that my rear bumper looked any different from the rest of the car; the paint job was excellent and matched perfectly.
