These are designer clothes for plus sized women. They sell clothing for larger ladies such as jeans, dresses, underwear, swimwear, tops, suits, jewellery, accessories and outerwear. The items available are all a bit samey. The basic items such as jeans and work trousers are good and fairly inexpensive but there isn't really anything that stands out. The staff are very helpful. When you go to the fitting room to try items on the attendant will take the items off you, lead you to a free fitting room out of the many available, and then advise you to ask them if you need any help. They are happy to bring you more sizes and if the size you need is not in store they will phone round other stores to see if they have it, or they will order it specially for you and contact you when it has arrived. The store is clean and tidy and there seems to be a good stock of sizes on the rails. This is a great little shop.

At the moment the shop is full of florals and nautical clothing, and there are some fab items in the sale too. The shop assistants are nice and friendly and know what they're talking about, and even the security guards understand when you furtively dart inside the door to make sure no one sees you (it's not always 'cool' to shop at oversized clothes stores) Definitely somewhere I'd head after the post-Christmas pounds to stock up on comfy gear until the New Year diet kicks in round about March...

And on top of that you have to spend your life wearing granny bras and over-the-shoulder-bolder-holders. Now that there's a Bravissimo in Liverpool, all that has changed. Say goodbye to your dull grey bosom buddies that could theoretically be used as hammocks. Bravissimo stocks girly, colourful bras that fit all sizes, even the sizes that you didn't dream were physically possible without surgical enhancement. Not only that, they also have a range of clothes and swimwear for the top-heavy lady. I'm not really bothered about the swimwear, as I don't like strap marks so my bikinis usually disappear as long as no one's looking, but the clothes are essential. Available in curvy, really curvy or super curvy, even the sizes don't make you think of yourself as overly big. A must have for all top heavy women, but good for 'normal' sizes too. If you haven't discovered Bravissimo yet, I pity your boyfriends.....

Their prices are normally higher than most standard stores but this is understandable due to their difference. Bravissimo is not your average shop and you will not find any shop similar nearby, so it is a great place to find what you're looking for.

The shop seems to have gone from high street pariah to go-to destination for picking up cheapo chic - according to a magazine on the floor of my girlfriend's lounge Beyonce was recently spotted wearing a £20 top from the store's Idol range (yes it is my girlfriend's magazine - how dare you imply any differently!) This Liverpool ONE branch is absolutely mammoth, with three floors of bargain fashion. Inevitably with such a size of store things can get a little untidy but things are generally looked after well and the advantage of such gargantuan amounts of floor space is the availability - a staggering array of stylish stuff in all sizes. Women's wear wise New Look seems to be on top of the whole thing, offering a range of subdued styles (jeans, t-shirts, blazers) and more outré offerings (studded biker jackets, glittery dresses, flowery leggings). The shoes seem to be the main draw here though with pretty much all my female friends owning at least one pair of party heels from the shop's range. The menswear section seems a little stunted though, with only a handful of really decent items amongst the fluorescent baseball neck tees and zippy pocketed jeans.

Even though the store is large it is still pretty cramped. The shop floor is as full as it can get, with rails close to each other and placed high up the walls. When it is busy the shop can get a bit messy but that is to be expected. The clothing is quite inexpensive and the clothes are of a reasonable quality. They have a good range of sizes, there is even a separate plus size section. They also have a good range of styles to suit everyone. The fitting rooms have many separate rooms but they are quite small and can get very hot when they are busy. Overall this is a great shop.

New Look have recently had a new makeover and are more up to date with the fashion for this generation. The price of clothing and footwear has gone up slightly but is still very well worth the money, the quality of the clothing is also allot better. In the past it has had a reputation as an old ladies clothes shop but recently it has started to change it's image and include much more fashionable items in its ranges. It also has some designer ranges instore such as David Emanuelle. Sizes start around size 8 and go up to size 22/24 so cater for all sizes . For larger ladies Bon Marche is one of the few outlets where they can get nice looking clothes, including business suits and formal wear at reasonable prices , they have also introduced some sporty leisure wear recently too. The plus sizes are much better value than a certain plus range store opposite.The store also has a range of accessories such as costume jewellery and even shoes and boots. There are changing rooms in the store, and they even have a magazine,a loyalty card scheme and regular stamper card offers. The store is bright and welcoming with lots of stock which changes regularly and the sales assistants will go out of their way to help.
