It was brought up to code with new osb decking and a roof system that is top notch. And they replaced the rotted facial boards on the eves. AF Roofing completed the job in 3 days. They cleaned the yard so much so you would have known they were ever here, except for a very nice looking roof. It was a very labor intensive job, but the crew worked hard and cheerfully without a complaint heard. Even when I had questions, they did not mind my interruptions. The roof looks great and I'm glad I had AF Roofing to do the job. I would recommend them to everyone for their roofing needs.

Andrew gave me a extremely detailed estimate and three different shingle samples to choose from. My selections were made and a tear off and installation date was arraigned. On the designated date the Recon Roofing crew showed up on time, 7:30 am, and got right to work. They were efficient and mindful of my property. The work progressed rapidly. I was very impressed. There was no down time except for a lunch break. By 4:00pm the work was wrapping up and clean up commenced. And they left my property cleaner than they found it. They were gone at 4:30 pm. At 6:00pm Andrew came by to inspect the day's work. I'm thoroughly pleased. And the drone photos were a bonus. My roof looks great! And mowing my yards the next day I only found one nail. Seriously! In early May 2018 I contacted this company to see if they could install a tile back splash for my…read morenewly renovated kitchen. After discussing the job in detail with the owner and accepting the bid for the job, I gave him a check for half of the labor and all of the materials, Since I was on an extended stay away from my home, it was the perfect time to allow him to work on his own schedule and have it finished by the time I got home sometime in the Fall. After receipt of a few pictures of the start of the job, and that I have a great relationship with a family member of his, I looked forward to getting this last item finished for my kitchen. In the middle of the summer I asked him how it was going and he said he would send some pics, but I never received any of them. By early August, I called him to see if he would finish one more small job for me and asked about the progress of the kitchen back splash. He said it was complete, that it looked like a designer job but he could not send me pictures because his phone's camera broke a few weeks ago but would send pics soon. I never received pics, but was not concerned because he is the son of a great friend. Upon my return in mid-October, I had to get out of my vehicle to move a portable table that still had the tile cutter/tray on it in the middle of the garage. It was only then that I remembered that a new back splash awaits me...but what a shock I had when I walked into the kitchen to find partially cut tiles laying on my counters, the first row of tiles were up, but most of the second row was barely started. Upon a closer look, what should have been square corners were not, holes around the light switch was too big, and some tiles were cut and removed that obviously did not fit as they had been taken off and put on the counter with mortar on the back of them that had dried. Even though it was late, I immediately called him to let him know I was home and that he needed to call me. That was a Wednesday evening, and on Saturday he sent me a text message that told me he would be by to finish the job the next Monday and the reason he didn't finish the job was that he was waiting for me to get home so I could show him in person how I wanted the tile completed under the cabinets. He had never communicated this to me in all those months, and as a matter of fact he specifically said it was completed and looked like a "designer job." Suffice it to say that he never called, showed up or attempted to make amends. I am out that money, had to have another contractor demo his job as I found out no one would want to have their name attached to such a mess, and had to pay for the materials and labor all over again. No attempt has been made by him to make amends or return any of the money had for this job.

I called Lionheart's office to schedule an appointment to obtain a price estimate and quote…read more On the day and time of the appointment nobody came. I was told they'd show up about 9:00 am /10:00 ish am. I waited until 12:30 pm. NO COURTESY CALL! Having given up on Lionheart's visit, I left to visit a neighborhood friend. There next door to my friends house was Lionheart Roofing inspecting another roof, having just committed to inspecting my friend's roof next. It was obvious to me that I was dropped. I left a note and my number on Lionheart's truck regarding the missed appointment. I then left with my friend to go buy a part for a project he was working on. We were gone about an hour, maybe a bit more when my phone rang as I was standing in my friend's garage. I saw that it was Robert from Lionheart calling me from his truck. He told me he had not forgotten about my appointment rather he blamed the whole thing on a network/electronics issue. He was going to put off my friends inspection to inspect my roof around the corner but I told him to go ahead and take care of my neighbor because he was already there. I rescheduled an appointment with him for the following morning at 8:00 am. The next morning Lionheart didn't show up until 40 minutes later claiming some other incident caused him to be late. AGAIN...NO COURTESY CALL! When he finally showed, he blamed the prior day's missed appointment on his office personnel for having not texted him the appointment info. After looking at my roof he told me that his brother, James, would send me an estimate within a few days. A week went by and...you guessed it....NO ESTIMATE...NO CALL! Today James from Lionheart called to inquire about my intention to replace my roof. I had already made that clear to his brother. I told James I was waiting for his estimate/proposal so I could move forward with having my roof replaced. It's apparent that the left hand doesn't have a clue what the right hand is doing in that company. LIONHEART ROOFING IS GROSSLY INEPT, IRRESPONSIBLE AND THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I GAVE THE JOB TO ANOTHER CONTRACTOR.
