Great place to go. I had a car key that didn't work. I though I was going to get a new key for $200+ dollars but they were able to put in a new battery for $25+tax.... PS I put in a battery but it was bad. Only use Panasonic batteries, Duracell stinks. Don't get a new key have them check it out. read more

Poor customer service. Stood in store today waiting to be served behind one other customer with a thousand questions! Waited an unbelievable 15 minutes!! Employee never looked at me or said, "be with you in a minute." Finally I asked what time they closed. Employee responds, "actually were already closed" Despite fact I entered store 10 minutes before closing. Employee never apologizes and says a simple, "I'll still assist you." But rather follows up with nothing and gives me that look as if he wishes I'd leave so that he doesn't have to wait on me past closing. Unbelievable!!! Actually, very believable!!! Pleased with their service. I have had this business send out locksmiths via their mobile van twice in the past four years to rekey a property. When I called them, the owner said it would be $60 for the service visit although they charged $65 in reality... poor form but not going to go crazy over $5. They generally charge $12/lock to re-key each door. In both instances, the technicians that the business has sent out were friendly and highly competent guys who do a great job. read more

Check! Re-key door locks on house and business. Check! Most amazing of all ... old car keys were so worn that we couldn't start the car. Our mechanic told us that the whole steering column would have to be replaced at a cost of perhaps $1000. We called Hi Desert. They cut new keys that work just fine. Whew! Bought a high dollar safe from these guys. Pat delivered it and bolted it down in my garage with a power wrench. Was told then that they would move it if need be because of their outstanding customer support. Well, now I'm moving and I can't unbolt it myself. So I called and spoke to Mason who couldn't decide whether to charge me $95 of $125 or maybe more if it was a hot day?? He also couldn't work out a day he could do it within the next week and left me hanging. Keep up the work fella's. That's the kind of service I don't need.
