I had two MRIs here in the past month. One for my back, and one for my hip. I got to experience both of their machines, and I did OK and both of them. The staff was excellent! They were patient, kind and worked quickly. When I took the results to my doctor, at Peachtree Orthopedics, he was very impressed with the report and the disc. He said it was much better quality than the MRI I brought him earlier that year from one of their competitors. In all, I was very pleased with everything including the price. Compared to a hospital and the bigger, MRI chain, they are way more affordable. read more

I came here for an MRI per my doctor for a concussion as a result of an accident. The appointment was made two weeks ago but not in their system. However, they were able to take me after a few calls. An open MRI is more relaxed and comfy. The staff were very helpful and the whole experience low key. Good office for the procedure. read more

Great place to get an MRI. they have cool glasses for people who do not like closed in spaces that help relieve the anxiety.

I had an appointment for a open MRI, when the technician took me back she put me in the machine and started the procedure. Asked me if I was doing ok. I asked if this was the open machine and was told no it was the regular one,she said I would have had to wait an hour to go in the open one. It would have been nice to have been given the choice, fortunately I was able to bare been in the closed machine. read more

I went in to try the open machine. I broke down in tears from even trying the machine out. To my surprise, no headphones or ear plugs were necessary, which was a challenge with my other attempts at previous locations. It's the closeness that really got to me. I was able to bring in a friend that could literally hold my hand and talk me through the process. That was helpful. I NEEDED this procedure and this machine made it possible. I went in for X-rays today. I told Brittany (the X-ray technologist) that she gets the #1 medical professional award for being respectful and supportive. She answered all my questions with a lot of respect and patience. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that, especially in a medical professional. So medical professionals don't want to give you thorough help, they just want you to shut up and sit there. read more

I am severely claustrophobic and Naomi and Brittnay are AMAZING! I cannot tell you how understanding and gave me these prism glasses that make you look at your feet. We were jamming to the Eagles! We arrived early, the facility had a power outage and we needed to wait for everything to "work". After the MRI they had no cd of the scan for us and told me that they would call me to come back to a facility and retrieve it and then bring to my doctor. They offer no delivery or currying. I thought they electronically submitted the result I had no idea I had to deliver the cd. When my son came out of the MRI the technician then asks me if he had an injury they where looking for? Like did she read the Prescription? My poor 15 year old sone spent 30 min in the thumping closed in mri machine with no headphones to listen to music because they didn't work. Then they forgot to notify my the cd was ready. I finally got it 3 days later. The radiology report was completely wrong and totally missing the fractured spine that my son had after the doctor finally reviewed the cd he could see it plain as day. When I called and requested that the radioligist revisit the imagery and update the report, the secretary told me I couldn't request this as a patient (even though I paid hundreds of dollars as the customer of this material). Then she said have a good day and hung up on me. I need many more ct scans and mri scans for my injured son, so I guess this place doesn't need your money or doest value customer service, patient comfort or an accurate report. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! This place is a joke. read more

I scheduled a brain MRI looking for the source of recent hearing loss. High Field was helpful in scheduling me for the following week and guiding me to getting the necessary information from my ENT doctor. The facility was clean, and the staff in the front and back were nice and very respectful. You pay the agreed insurance amount and get your images on disc before you leave. The radiologist report was sent to my doctor within 48 hours I believe. They found no anomalies and I got to look at my brain. read more

I am very claustrophobic and the Open MRI at this facility is by far the most comfortable I've ever seen They went above and beyond to fit me in and to get my test results to me ASAP!!! This place was wonderful! My 12 year old daughter was so nervous but they were very kind and patient with her throughout the 1 1/2 hour process. They kindly offered me coffee and my daughter breakfast as we had a 7am appt. They were wonderful to talk to as we waited for the procedure to be finished. I had a MRI on my knee done here. I had a dislocated kneecap that was very vulnerable when I went in. My kneecap had dislocated the day before because of a careless x ray tech at a different facility. I had an amazing experience here at High Field. The operator was so careful with my knee; she made me feel so comfortable. She supported my knee in every way she could and even helped with my shoes at the end! During the MRI she came in several times to make sure I was okay and didn't need anything. I highly recommend this place. read more

I am EXTREMELY claustrophobic ...so much so that even this open machine can make me panic at times. However, because the technician is so awesome and attentive I am able to do an entire MRI here. She literally came in and held onto my leg so that I wouldn't feel panicked. Having just this simple contact with someone outside of the machine takes all of the anxiety away...I actually fell asleep! I will never go anywhere else for an MRI. They never make me feel rushed or make me feel dumb for being claustrophobic. They are so kind and helpful ...I mean where else will the tech stay in the room with you for support? I've never had that before. Everywhere else that I've been the techs are irritated to have to bother with someone with anxiety and they certainly aren't staying with you. This place is the absolute best. No long waits either! I drive an hour and a half to get here and it's worth it! read more

This was the worst experience of my life, as far as MRIs go. First, I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early for an appointment that I had to wait another hour and a half for. No earplugs!! I felt as if I had just left a torture chamber with machine fun fire in my ears for 40 minutes. Don't go here for an MRI. read more

I called about 25 mri places this one was the cheapest. Also now more than ever I'm realizing in life, you get what you pay for. The 2 ladies in front had a cordial but still apparent power struggle and kept contradicting each-others orders to one another. Both strong knowledgeable women with equally good ideas about how thing should proceed; neither steering me wrong but seriously work together and reduce the tension or fire the subordinate or lower skilled staff and replace with someone with better listening skill/intuition. Here is where it gets interesting. 6 days after my MRI, I called 3 times 24-48 hours apart (politely and professionally) and requested a call back repeatedly to discuss insurance submission 6 days then 8 and finally 10 days it was not submitted to my insurance after requesting a call each message after 3`rd call Finally saw it submitted to insurance , I was never called back still ( 16 days 3 polite nice messages). Sad... So far what I have mentioned was a 3 star review the following is what takes the cake. I got an mri of my hand to determine if a tendon repair was still connected. Each picture they took was inconclusive (according to 2 other second opinions and due to the fact that i went into surgery AGAIN today and the tendon was ruptured) none of the frames actually captured the tendon itself yet the radiologist in official report, stated there was no evidence that there was a discontinuity. So surgery, tendon was ruptured, mri and 2 alt opinions "tendon not visible", report completely different if wast was seen in surgery and pics. Please if you need to see something small with great detail consider choosing a place that doesn't report incorrectly, has a combative staff, and does not call their customers calls. If you care about your body you will AVOID this place. Best of luck! read more

For my MRI claustrophobic friends, take note... I was scheduled for an MRI at Emory Johns Creek in a machine I was told would be semi-open. Within 2 minutes, I quickly found out that semi-open would not work. As quickly as I went into the machine, I asked to be pulled out. I needed to have the MRI results for a follow-up w/in 3 days. I located High Field Open MRI in Roswell and was able to secure an appointment within 7 hours. The staff was professional, proactive, and did all the leg work in contacting my insurance and getting the order transferred from Emory (Thank you "N"). The tech Sam was compassionate and caring. She took the time to familiarize me with the machine, explained the process, and kept the door open in case I needed her immediate assistance. The machine is spacious; allowing for the stretching of legs and arms. It is also open on 4 sides, facilitating quick exit, with no assistance (not that you will need it, but peace of mind for the claustrophobic) and the room is well ventilated. My claustrophobia doesn't allow me to get inside an elevator, so I can say with assurance that I would be able to spend hours inside this machine, without issue. My experience was smooth and anxiety free. For the claustrophobic like me, definitely give this place a try and go the open MRI route.
