We recently spent an extended period traveling throughout Europe, and being able to continue his math sessions remotely was such a relief. The transition was seamless, allowing him to stay on track with his worksheets while still working live with an engaged instructor who kept him focused and motivated. It was comforting to know that even while we were away, his learning didn't have to pause. John Paul has been fantastic to work with. There are some teachers at this campus that do not grade all the assignments that are in Canvas…read morethat show as work to be graded or they automatically put a zero in Focus even though the work was submitted. They tell the students to turn in the work for a grade but you have to be on top of them to do their job and then they still give you every excuse why they are not doing it. The only one that this is not benefiting is the student as they work hard to complete the assignments and then you tell them you are not grading it. They complain that they can't grade a 100 assignments every quarter but you look in Focus and they only graded 23 test/assignments all quarter. The principal/assistant principal does not hold them accountable. Pines Charter was the only option many years ago but now there are many more Charter Schools in Broward County that would be a better choice to help your child succeed academically.
