Seasoned fries and Slap & Tickle IPA
    Elijah I.

Stopped by with a few friends to catch up during the week. Right when we walked in, we were greeted right away and the vibe definitely matched the name -- rustic saloon feel with a live band playing, which really tied it all together. We grabbed a booth and our server, Alexander, was on point the whole night -- super helpful and checked in often without being overbearing. Big props to him for the great service. For food, I went with the wings, seasoned fries, and an IPA. The ranch wasn't my favorite, but swapping it out for another sauce did the trick. Everything else was well-balanced with solid portion sizes for appetizers. Overall, good spot for hanging out, catching some live music, and grabbing solid bar bites. I'll definitely be back.

I ordered the chicken wings, potato skins, boomtown burger, and pioneer patty melt The chicken wings were amazing, nice meaty wings only thing I wish was 1 or 2 more on the plate. I highly recommended with the buffalo sauce The potato skins were delicious when you eat them right away while hot and fresh, I would recommend. Both burgers were very very good, a well cooked and tender patty with nice and thick cheese. The French fries had a nice crunch and seasoning. I would recommend any burger here. There was live music here and the staff was attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back.

If you like strong cocktails, this is the place. I had the Dusk Til Dawn. My husband had the Boy Named Sue. We both got slightly tipsy after just one drink! Its worth the $15. Service was quick and [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambiance was busy for a Saturday afternoon right after Christmas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We didnt try the food, but id try the steak next time.

Cattleman's Caesar with steak add-on and cornbread croutons. My favorite!

Always a great time at this place! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were there for brunch and live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great service, awesome, tasty food with good size portions. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!!

Will def be coming back for weekday night drinks. Slow & empty on a random Wednesday but perfect for the girls and I to catch up. Late night happy hour after 8. Big dining menu for a bar.

Second time visiting HHS and the food quality is amazing!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Friendly staffs and very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I feel like I'm dining in one of the restaurant in Texas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For the dishes, I've try Southwestern Chicken Salad and fish and chips before (it was very delicious). Today, I had a fish and chips again with Corn Bread Skillet which FnC was amazing and the CBS was surprisingly delicious!!! Must try!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]So HHS is my go to place now!! Love the food, service and ambiance!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Must Try!

Brought my friend for her birthday dinner and I had the sweetest server named Bailey! Her service was very nice and helpful. Everything came out delicious and the service was impeccable.

Super fun spot! Had a small GNO and this place was it! In middle of Downtown Fullerton with parking available almost every corner we had a blast. We enjoyed our beer in a huge Milk jug (super fun). Service here is perfect, our server knew exactly what we wanted and catered to our needs! Was told that after 10pm they do $10 shots with some DJ jamming music for tall the dancers to come out and take over the dance floor!

I have been in a few times both times on a Sunday. Our waitress Lennon was wonderful. Our favorites have been the pickle fries, the onion rings and the burger. The only miss we have had is sometimes the martinis are not as dirty as I like them (I love a filthy martini - I know personal preference but I let them know) and the wings were okay. Wouldn't order them again. They have a cute photo booth in the back. The music is pretty loud but to be expected.

    On the range burgers.

Our visit was from 12/05/25 around 6:30-7pm. Originally just went for drinks and we ended up ordering burgers, a pretzel, fries and tater tots. Our bartender Katelyn's service was great. She was friendly, kind and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You get a rustic-western ambiance with a variety of music on the background and lights are dimmed for a pleasant evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely repeat.

Ambience on the inside as well as the outside are both pretty great. I've also never had a bad meal here, virtually all of their food is spectacular and made from scratch although their prices are not "cheap" they are also very fair, especially given the quality of food. The drinks are also dead on, they have a wide range of craft beer as well as a full bar. The service is great. The only thing I could think of the lands in the constructive arena is their live music. Sometimes they have open mic nights, other times they have a hired band or musician. The music is way, wayyy too loud. I don't mind live music, but it can't be so loud that you are unable to enjoy the company. Patrons should be able to talk to the person or the people next to them without being drowned out by the music. I recently came with friends for drinks and we were having a great time for the first 10 minutes we were there, but when the music started, we couldn't hear each other talk at all. So we just sat there quietly, drowned out to mediocre music. We all had another drink and then left. Might be a better idea to have the music loud enough to be slightly above background noise, but low enough where you can reasonably talk and listen to those around. Even ordering at the bar was tough. We would yell an order at the bartender, who would yell at back for confirmation. Often, exchanges in this dialogue included "what was that?"

The crispy rice looked and tasted interesting. These were cubes of rice packed together with the outer edges fried. The cube resembled fried tofu because the inner part was soft with rice filling. I thought the dressing was decent and complemented the salad more than the ahi tuna. This entree comes in a large portion as well. Overall, the ambience was decent inside. Since there were tables already reserved inside, the bar was the best place to watch the game. The inside dining area was relaxed as we were the only ones there for the majority of our visit. We talked a little bit with the bartender as well. I was also surprised to see some board games at one side of the restaurant. In contrast, the patio was lively, and there was someone performing music. There weren't many suitable tables to watch the match outside, so we opted for dining inside.

For example, the cottage cut (seven ounces) costs $39 instead of $59 on Wednesdays. Despite the pricy menu items, the food quality, service, and ambience make for an excellent opportunity to celebrate a special occasion. Firstly, we ordered the seaside sampler for four as an appetizer. This included Chesapeake Bay-style crab cakes, chilled Mexican prawns, and ahi sashimi. I enjoyed the ahi sashimi the most as the large and fresh slices had a nice sear with a savory seasoning on the edges. The crab cakes tasted great and filling with a dill horseradish aioli as the menu listed. While I didn't try the prawns, my mom enjoyed those the most as they had a slightly sweet flavor. I did enjoy the cocktail sauce. Secondly, I ordered the cottage cut, which included seven ounces of roasted prime rib, creamed corn au gratin, creamed spinach, and a Yorkshire popover. The cut tasted lovely at medium rare as it had a soft texture and good balance of meat and fat. I appreciated that my mom got an especially thick cut of prime rib. Seven ounces feels just right for me given that the entree includes other sides. The creamed corn au gratin tasted a little sweet without an overwhelming flavor. I liked how the creamed spinach had a similar taste. A Yorkshire popover has an airy texture with a buttery and eggy taste. Au jus and horseradish butter elevated the prime rib. Thirdly, we had an English trifle for dessert. The menu says that the trifle consists of cake layers soaked with rum and brandy, including English custard, strawberries, Chantilly cream, and caramelized sliced almonds. It had a uniquely sweet flavor due to the soaking, and the almonds provided some crunch. I found the dessert tasty. I found the staff polite, friendly, and professional. Our server disclosed the discounts on their prime rib cuts and listed their prices. She also mentioned other featured entrees in detail. The staff also consistently refilled my water glass. We also had the opportunity to ask another staff member for olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette for our baked bread. He came back and made a little small talk, fondly reminiscing how his former restaurant would serve the same sauces with their bread. My mom also got a birthday card with a printed message and signatures from the staff. The restaurant provided a simply elegant ambience. While entering the indoor seating area, we passed an exhibition kitchen and table displaying various desserts. Customers generally wore semi-formal clothing, and the restaurant recommends business-casual attire. A pianist played various songs and tunes to make for a fancy yet calm atmosphere. I especially enjoyed how the pianist played "Clair de lune." It felt nice to experience a rare moment of hearing classical music played inside a restaurant. Parking was available both valet as well as self-park. Dining seemed to be available in the dining room or in private rooms. The entire experience felt like "old money." It appeared that many diners were there for a special occasion. Started off with the crab cakes which didn't have much crab...bummer. It was more like breading with a little bit of crab. It didn't taste like crab cake either. The scallops appetizer was also lacklustre as the bacon had some heavy baking soda aftertaste?!? The mushroom appetizer was different. Highlights from the meal included the dry aged prime ribeye which had a fantastic char, fantastic marbling, and cooked to a perfect medium rare! Portions were gigantic and perfect for sharing! The chilean sea bass entree was also gigantic and really nicely executed with super flakey sea bass. The bone marrow mac and cheese was very rich and came out as a gigantic portion, perfect for sharing. Our waitress throughout the evening was fantastic. Ended the meal off with the dessert sampler which was a fantastic way to try out all their desserts in a smaller portion! ~$110/head after tax and gratuity with plenty of leftovers!
