This is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on whether I start to get addicted, but it's great that it's now so close. Having previously visited the Alderley Edge (great) and Didsbury (not quite as good but still pretty nice) branches it's the same product with them selling cod, hake, haddock and plaice - for around £5 a pop, with chips coming in at £1.50-£2.50, plus all of the extras you'd usually get in a fish and chip shop. Their layout is modern, it's clean and efficient and the staff were super friendly - the only thing worth mentioning is that as opposed to the other two branches this is fully takeaway apart from 2 picnic benches outside (probably around room for 12 seats) Overall a great addition to the local area - mine's a large haddock and chips please!

The pies are cooked to perfection and as for the fish, battered to perfection!! The cafe area is clean and heated and although their isn't much space on match days, you will always find a seat.

And overall, yes - pretty damn good fish and chips at pretty damn good prices! We bought 2 cod and a large chips with 2 large mushy peas for £11 which seemed really good value and when I got them home and on the plate the look, smell and consistency of them looked like it was a good choice. The taste overall was good if the chips were a little undercooked for my liking but i definitely will go back with it being so close, even if Fosters fish and chips is on a different planet in terms of quality and overall pleasure to eat.
