I wrote one review for their Funeral Home... and adding this one for the Memorial Park. I know this is strange to write a review on here for this type of work but I just had to. I sadly had to use their services...My family lives in the area and I have known this place and drove by it since I was a kid. This was a few years back, and from the time I went in it was very nice during a difficult time in my life. The ladies there are just amazing and helpful, the staff was helpful and event the owner spoke with me and welcomed and comforted me. They helped me choose all the things needed and even called me that night to make sure I was okay and seeing if I had questions. I can't say enough about these ladies, very helpful, very nice and made me feel as good as I could at that time. I used their funeral home services and had already purchased a plot in their cemetery.. nice to know my loved one was in top quality, professional people. I also like to work with local companies and local people thanks again! read more

Used this funeral home for my mother's service several years back. They were having another funeral right after and rushed us out of the building while the song was still playing. The whole service was very rushed and was very upset over the funeral home's treatment. They ask for the rest of the balance of the money right before the service started and standing not far from the casket. Also, for a very short, very basic with a mid range casket...the price was probably two thousand OVER priced. It's bad to be upset and taken advantage of at such a sad, chaotic time. C.M. read more

My niece passed away two years ago leaving her two children. Her headstone was ordered and paid for then. To this day, it is still not laid. When we inquire about where it is, we get excuses as to why it's not there. We've been taken advantage of because we live out of state and can't visit the grave regularly. Her children still have not been able to see the headstone they picked out to honor their mother at her grave. High Lawn Funeral should be ashamed of what they've done to these children. read more

Very dissatisfied with this business. My brother had a plot right behind my parents and he decided to gift it to me since he now lives out of state. He called and informed one of male employees who then mailed me a deed for a plot on the other end of the cemetery. I have called and called and they just say they will check on it and get back to me. They never call back. After talking to some friends they relayed stories of how other people had the same problem. Don't think this is legal. read more
