The music is a pleasant volume level especially for the older crowd ( I have to admit I am more accustomed with the loud concert type modern church, so this is a nice change) and the worship time is heart-felt and authentic. the church is very clean, inside and out, and the expansion and growth of the building, school, radio station all are evidence of good growth to me. North Valley Baptist was the second church we tried out and it has become our church home. There are so many opportunities for learning both in bible study classes several times a week as well as ministry opportunities. This church is vibrant, active both within the church building and outside in the community. People are welcoming, loving and open. We have a wonderful little library that anyone can use to grow their understanding of the bible and Christian doctrine. Members of all ages and backgrounds attend this church. I was a bit concerned when I first went looking for a church that my unusual haircut or style of dress would be an issue, but I have been assured both in word and deed over and over again that the only thing that matters is a love of Jesus.
