DO NOT HIRE! This company was recommended by BOSCH to come repair my speed oven. The guy came a week later and replaced a fuse. He told me if there were any issues in the next 30 days I can call, and they will come back for free. they got it working and left. 2 days later the same thing occurred with my speed oven. the guy answered my call after a couple tries and said he'd try to get someone out the next day... Then CRICKETS... I left messages and called several times and no answer and no call back... by day 5 the mailbox was full. They already got $350 out of me so there was no need to for customer care. I have called BOSCH to let them know to stop recommending this company. I had to call a different company and fork out MORE money to get it fixed. It was a much better experience read more

I was given this company's phone number by Bosch as someone who could repair my dishwasher. The repair was for a recall. When I called he wouldn't do the work unless I paid him. In other words he didn't do recalls. Bosch will be given this information. read more

It is stunning to me that Electrolux continues to contract with this company. Over the course of years, I can see customers that have had exactly the same issues as I'm experiencing. No call/no show, a phone number with no outgoing message, and a voicemail box that's full. This seems like fraud, since I (we - there are a ton of people here with the same issue) have paid for a warranty and then we are unable to get repairs completed because Electrolux is doing business with this garbage dump of a company. read more

Would give this company zero points if I could. We were referred to Peter, owner of High-Tech Appliance Service, by Thermador. Peter came to our home to inspect our Microwave that had problems. 4 months have gone by, and the problem has not been resolved. Ended up calling Thermador to find out the status, and found out that Peter has been lying to us for 4 months!!! He did absolutely nothing to fix the issues. Thermador had NO record of him even calling them! Unfortunately, we have to start the process over and Thermador assigned a new repair company. High Tech Appliance Service is worthless!!!! read more

I had warranty work done for an LG front-load washer. The warranty company selected this repair business on my behalf. They were able to schedule just a week in advance-- when you have no washer, every day is precious so this was great. Peter called fifteen minutes before he arrived on the scheduled day. He had the washer apart in 10 minutes, the new drain pump (sent to me in advance by the warranty company) installed, and everything back together in 30 minutes flat. Great experience. read more

This company was assigned for my fridge while under warranty and it's been three weeks since their original appointment after claiming to order the part and telling me they'd call back the next day... they never called and I continuously had to be the one to reach out. They still have not been here and the only way I can get any sort of update is to call them over and over and hope that they answer the phone. Otherwise they ignore emails and voicemails. I had a technician come to my home to service my oven on August 11. The technician stated that the control panel was faulty and it would be 10 day before he could get a new on to replace it. I still have not received any update on the status of my repair and I have called the service phone number multiple times with no response. I cannot get any response from the technician at all after leaving multiple voice mails. read more

I had to have my Bosch stove replaced under warranty for cavity paint bubbles. Once the stove was received, Peter at High Tech Appliance Service set the appointment and came the next day. He was in and out of my home very quickly and efficiently. Additionally, he corrected what the previous installer had done incorrectly on the height, and had the stove wings resting as it should on the granite countertop. He offered to answer any questions that I had and made suggestions on the care of the oven. Thank you for the great re-install of my range. read more

Looks like I'm joining the chorus of poor reviews for these guys... I had some issues with my new Bosch dishwasher so Bosch set up a service request with High Tech. It was over a week before they called to schedule an appointment, but they scheduled me for the next week Tuesday between 9am and noon. Noon came and went without seeing or hearing from anyone so I called them to see what was going on- but no answer. Waited a little while and tried again, and this time a guy did answer so I explained who I was and that no one had shown up. To which he responded "Let me call you right back in like 5 minutes". Ok fine I thought, everyone has bad days. But that was a little after noon and come 4pm I still hadn't heard anything. So I called Bosch this time to let them know. So now Bosch tried calling them but also couldn't reach anyone. So thankfully, she put a new service request in with a different place, one with much better reviews. Hopefully they don't ever use this company again. Obviously this seems to be their M.O. which is amazing then that they're somehow still in business! read more

Currently going on 4 weeks of waiting on High Tech Appliance to even give us a call back about the Bosch dishwasher repair they started back in mid February. They did come out for an initial visit and determined that we have a bad control board, and told us that it would take 3-10 days to get in a replacement. But since then... nothing. I've been calling every few days and leaving voicemails, but the only time I got someone on the phone, they asked if they could call me back "in a few minutes" after looking into the status of the part, and, well... apparently a few minutes to them actually means "at least a couple weeks". They are apparently the only authorized service provider for Bosch in our area, so we had little choice of using them, even though their rating is as low as it is. At this point, we are in contact with Bosch to see if we can get their listing as an authorized service provider for Bosch revoked since they have been absolutely no help, and the experience has reflected extremely poorly on Bosch themselves. read more

I called Electrolux to set up a warranty repair. They scheduled it for 7/11/23 with the repair person from High Tech to arrive between 8AM and 12PM. At 12:45, nobody had showed up. I called the High Tech number. It transferred me to another number and when the voice mail picked up, it said "the mailbox is full." It's okay to have to reschedule. It's not okay not to let me know or make it so I can't contact you to find out what's going on. read more

Our stove has been broken for a month, I was told the part needed is on back order and we could get our stove repaired in "4-6 business days". A month ago they said this. I would give this place zero stars if it was possible. Had two appointments (made through Frigidaire due to our warranty). First was no call no show - called to find out where they were and mailbox was full. Next appointment was made and I called to verify. They actually answered and confirmed. This appointment I had a service window of 8-12, called at 11 to find out a time. Was told her would "call the technician and call right back. Now it's 12:45pm and their voicemail is full again. How is Frigidaire contracted with this company? I would give them zero stars if I could. The "tech" came out July, 18, 2022, had no business card, and showed me his drivers license (first red flag). He said if I had a problem with his work I could just come to his house, when I stated that I would like a business card in case I needed to contact him. Who says that?? He then proceeded to recite the Q/A section of the manual (second red flag). He finally discovered a crack in our Frigidaire dishwasher filter, and reported he would order a new one. He left without giving us a work order, so we have no idea if he really ordered the part. I called them a week later, no answer. It's approaching a month here, so I called Frigidaire, and they NEVER ordered the part. After speaking with two different people at Frigidaire, I finally got the piece ordered. read more

Not a reputable company! Our dishwasher is broken. Whirlpool assigned High Tech Appliance Service as their authorized dealer. High Tech scheduled us 2 1/2 weeks out. On the day they were supposed to show up...nothing. So we called them and they told me they did not have a service request number. We called Whirlpool back and they called High Tech and got them what they needed. Now High Tech will not answer their phone and when we leave a message they do not call us back! October 2019-they were to come out to fix my Electrolux double oven. Never called back. Called again in November 2019. Finally got an appointment December 9. Said my part would arrive between 7 to 10 business days. Called after 12 business days, no answer. Kept on calling, left a message and/or voice mail full. Got a hold of them on January 3, 2020. He stated he would check on my part and call me right back. HE NEVER CALLED BACK and I haven't been able to get a hold of anybody since then; left messages and then their voicemail was full, again! I would never ever use this company. Absolutely horrible customer service. I have contacted Electrolux and have voiced my opinion in regards to this company. Told us we needed a new fan and was suppose to call us back with a price for the fan and install. We never heard back and they won't return our calls. Not a reliable company. Not sure why Frigidaire is contracted with this company. They were supposed to come between 8-5pm. I stayed home all day waiting. When I called the guy said he was in my area at 9am and tried to call me. There was no voicemail left so I assumed it was just a spam call. I tried to call him back and he was unprofessional on the phone. Said he would try to get a tech to my area and would call me back. Again, no call back. When I called around 3:30pm he said someone would be at my house before 5pm. It's now 5:50pm no one has showed up and I have not received a call. Kitchen Aide Dishwasher broke just after a year, Home Depot warranty service selected Hi-Tech after 5 week's of FUBAR with originally-selected service (Olson's Appliance). Called Peter at Hi-Tech, he had the RO with the bad part identified, ordering the part, can come out in 10 days on Oct 18th (yea, everyone is real busy, I get it.) Told Peter I was retired, come earlier if it works for him. Pete called on the 17th, was in the area, had the part, he came over, verified the pump motor assy was bad, R&R'd the PMA, tested operation and for leaks - good to go. I'd normally give only 4 stars because the service wasn't in a day or two, but I recognize that I'm not the only customer in the Puget Sound region, he came out a day earlier than scheduled, and I'm relieved to have the DW fixed finally after screwing around with "those other guys" for over a month (read my feedback on Olson's Appliance for the rest of that sad story..) I'm surprised these people are even in business. I wouldn't even give them 1 star! I have a couple Electrolux appliances that needed a warrantee service call. Electrolux scheduled the work order with them and I called High Tech Appliance on three occasions to confirm the appointment and they didn't return my calls. On the day of the appointment they didn't show up or even call to say they were delayed or we should reschedule. We rescheduled other things on our calendar to accommodate this appointment and to "No Show" was beyond unprofessional. This is not the fault of Electrolux other than they should disengage with this service provider immediately. DO NOT USE High Tech Appliance Service under any circumstances for anything! read more

A person came for initial investigation of our broken microwave, spent 10 minutes to reproduce the issue and told us we need to replace power board (without opening the microwave). He told us he will get back with estimates. No one has gotten back to me in 2 months, I have called almost every week and left voicemails but no one picks up. I want to request a refund for my service, but no one is picking up the phone. read more

The washing machine at our AirBnB in Seattle broke down with water and a load of clothes stuck inside, which was complicated as we live overseas and it happened just a few days before we were leaving town. I contacted Peter at High Tech Appliance Services and he came the next day. Unfortunately he was unable to fix the problem and said he needed to order a part. After 2 weeks of trying to get an answer regarding when he would return, he no-showed for the follow-up repair date and then stopped communicating with me. My husband had to fly from Europe to Seattle to take care of the problem himself (just following a YouTube video and not needing a replacement part). We lost a couple hundred dollars worth of clothes that were ruined by sitting in the machine for weeks, plus we had to cancel a week AirBnB booking which cost us another $1,000. I do not recommended this company but I do recommend YouTube :) read more

Why can't there be "zero" stars? Appointment made weeks in advance (PM appointment) under my fridge's warranty. No reminder call prior, but the morning of, a technician calls and says he's five minutes away. Well...I'm at work, so... I remind him the appt was for the afternoon, so he comes then. Says he has to order a part, then graffitis the inside of my fridge with their sh*tty company name and number. No call back...ever. I call three times (thanks for the marking of my territory) over the course of the next month, VM is "full" and cannot take messages. On the fourth call over a month later, I get through. The technician says "I don't know what happened. Can I come today?" I say sure. Five minutes later, same tech calls "Sorry man, I'm really busy today. Like, really busy. Any chance we can reschedule to sometime next week?" I relent, just glad to get a response. He responds, "Okay, I'll call next week and we'll do it then." Again, no call that week. I call back and leave two messages before I finally get someone to pick up on the third call. "Shit, sorry man. I'll contact a tech and get something figured out." Three days later and no call, I take the step AGAIN to call. VM. I finally tell them if they can't do it or don't want to, just let me know. No response, so I called the warranty office again, related my anger and they have since rescheduled me with another company. If you like your sanity or legitimate, hard working people, do NOT use this repair service for anything. Nothing. They would make a Tibetan Monk want to go out and kick a puppy (God forbid). read more
