I had a very large oak tree leaning over my home which required a crane . Matt and his med did a terrific job from beginning to end. They were very well prepared. with all the good equipment they had. Clean up was good Care was taken to protect utility's and sprinklers from damage I was very pleased with the safety talk and prayer before they started Matt also treated two adjoining trees for wilting oak disease. Matt and his crew at Higher Ground did an excellent job removing our large tree that was very tricky to cut down. Because our tree was tucked tightly in between our inground pool and our little pond (and surrounded by concrete), it required someone to climb the tree and lower every branch down to make sure it didn't damage the pool or pond. Higher Ground's crew were very respectful and I was especially impressed by how hard they all worked to clean up the area when they were done even though it was a very long day and there was a heat index warning. Sure. Other companies might have done the job cheaper. But when there's a pretty significant risk of damage, it's not worth the risk and the hassle. Couldn't be happier with the work. read more

Extraordinary company! This is the second time we have had this professional team at our home. The first visit was an emergency removal of a fallen tree during a wind storm. A trusting fairly new business that is reasonably priced. Matt is a certified arborist and knows his trees, etc. You can tell Matt is a safety fanatic - but that's important in his line of business. They always leave the area cleaned up, what keeps me from giving a five star is that every tree he's cut for me is at least 5" + from the ground, which is annoying. Higher Ground Tree Care did an excellent job removing four trees from our property. Start to finish, everyone I spoke with at Higher Ground Tree Care provided great customer service. From the first initial call to request an estimate, the office administration took the time to go step by step of how the process will run. Then Matt came out and assessed the trees and took time to answer all of our questions. Matt had to come out multiple times because my wife and I went back and forth on how many trees to remove. However, Matt was patient, flexible, and really took time to ensure we were comfortable with the work that was going to be completed. Finally, the crew that cut down the trees did an amazing job.
