While our company is based in CA, we had an event in Richmond, VA and I needed a vertical banner…read moreASAP and was wary to transport one there and back. Plus, I had a very tight timeline of 3 days, and no other printer could offer any assurance the banner would be ready/delivered in time. I found one of Keith Fabry's websites and ordered an overnight bannerstand for pickup at their office. I uploaded the file in the early moring hours and it was printed and ready for pickup the same day! Even though my flight landed later than scheduled, Debra took care of me and I was able to get the banner in plenty of time for the event. As for the banner, I paid for upgraded material and it came out looking great and was packed very well, so I was able to transport the banner via checked baggage on my return flight without issue. While KF may not be the least costly, their pricing is fair for their amazing turnaround and excellent customer service. Plus, they offer printing for Canva files which makes printing large items even easier for the casual designer or ad-hoc sign needs. Another shoutout to Debra and the entire team at KF!

I just needed a copy of a booklet that was comb-bound, along with a couple of the pages enlarged…read more The employee who "assisted" me seemed totally put out, like I was bothering him with such a trivial request. No smiles, no "thanks for your business," didn't even respond to me at times. He said they couldn't (more like wouldn't) re-bind the booklet after making the copies. It was like it was the first time they had ever seen such a booklet. Bizarre. So, I wound up going to Staples, where the cheerful print services employee had a quote for me within a couple of minutes. Asked about re-binding the booklet, he said, "yeah, no problem, we do that all the time" (to paraphrase). The kicker? The quote from Sir Speedy was $143.55. Staples was $56.50 and that was with two 24x36 and two 18x24 enlargements not included in the Sir Speedy quote! The employee at Sir Speedy I dealt with needs to just run print jobs in the back while another employee with a modicum of friendliness and personality interacts with the public.

Wow, what an incredibly unprofessional organization…read more TLDR; Took over a week to get back with a quote, didn't call back when they said they would, never ordered the shirt I requested, and left us no time to find another provider before an important event. I wanted to do business with a local company, so decided to stop in and see if they could accommodate a small embroidery order (3 shirts, 3 hats). I had 10 days until an event and they said no problem at all, even though they would have to order the shirt I wanted because they didn't have it in my color, nor did they have one in my size. I wasn't sure if I'd need a small or medium so they said they'd order both and I could try them on. Called to check on the order two business days later because they hadn't given us a quote. They said they'd call back with the price, still no problem getting the order done. Called again two days later after not hearing back from them, said they'd call back with a price. Still no problem with the order. Called again the next day (a Friday, event to be held the following Tuesday), finally they sent us a quote at nearly 4pm, charging us for both the small and medium shirts even though we'd only be getting the one that fit me. When told I'd be stopping in before closing at 6pm to try on the shirts, they seemed miffed that we'd be bothering them just prior to close. They then called back to let us know that they had never actually ordered the shirts and that I'd have to choose from what they had on hand. I canceled the order. It probably won't make a big difference to their bottom line - I'm aware it was a small order but that's no reason to treat a potential customer that way, particularly when that customer is a digital marketing company that is not afraid to spread the word about poor service online.

She saved the day for my small, elegant beach elopement…read more I had been speaking to photographers for months and couldn't find anyone that I liked their work enough to hire who was available with less than a year's notice. In comes Melanie, who I happened to find by accident through a Yelp promo email. She had another shoot earlier in the day, but bc we were doing a later beach elopement ceremony and reception, she could do it! Signing the contract and working out all the details online and via email was easy. She sent me some paperwork to give her details and then we had a phone conversation to discuss and get to know one another. On the day of - she texted me, showed up exactly on time, and was a dream to work with. So friendly, so kind, so helpful. She went above and beyond for me and my family and was so easygoing. She posed us wonderfully and rolled with the punches when a few things didn't go as planned (it's a wedding, it's going to happen!). Absolutely professional. The photos we've been given so far as a preview are stunning and I can't wait to see the others. Everyone raved about how kind she was and how much they liked our photographer afterwards, and when we've sent a few photos, they've all been blown away. I feel lucky to have found Melanie, and her husband Chris, to shoot my day and would recommend her to anyone who asked me for any photos. If we need family portraits or special pics taken in the future, she's our girl!

My maternity pictures are STUNNING and I've never felt more beautiful or loved my body as much as I did then and it was my third pregnancy! My kids absolutely ADORED her and my 3.5 year old son remembers her as the lady who loved his dinosaur toys. I booked our fall pictures with her on my birthday for our second photography session with her! Those pictures are soooo good and my kids were so uncooperative! Melanie also was absolutely amazing with my kids that day too! I booked my daughters first birthday pictures and cake smash with her in June! I'm so excited for those pictures because I just know how absolutely beautiful they are going to be!!! Definitely book a photography session with her! It's very worth your money And she's such an amazing photographer and a sweet person!
