I have been trying to get a contact with them & they always seem to send me straight to voicemail. What kind of company is this?!

I was guided and supported through what was a long and at times challenging interview process. They both took the time to truly listen, coach me, and keep my confidence up through every stage of the process. Offering me thoughtful guidance and always delivered with warmth and professionalism. Together, Saaya and Veronica make an incredibly powerful team. They complement each other perfectly -- bringing professionalism, genuine respect, and a human touch that is rare to find in recruitment. If you are looking for recruiters who will truly advocate for you, take the time to understand your goals, and stand by you through the highs and lows of a job search, look no further than Saaya and V at Pocketbook Agency. They have earned a client for life and a good friend!

They post their job ads on a variety of sites, but it is uncertain whether they view your application from them. I don't think they viewed mine at all a single time from their alternative posting .If you apply on their site, you will get an update on your application at least -- even though it seemingly is highly automated . Bottom -line: I wouldn't recommend this agency for any sorta job placement . Prepare to curb your expectations because -- by and large --they have been totally useless over the past 3 years in helping me in any meaningful way. 1) I have ten years of personal assistant experience over the past 10 years . My former clients were an : actor and comedian , poker player, and a famous rock guitarist. Having this experience under my belt, I have received a total of one interview about 3.5 years ago with the help of a staff member who is no longer with the agency. 2) I keep on getting canned responses from the newer staff with reassurances that I must not give up and keep applying as 'it's highly competitive '. However, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. And I have had zero results thus far. Now I must preface following solely , as ITS MY OPINION: 1) I believe they favor candidates in certain positions irrespective of their qualifications or merit based on non-qualifying factors or immutable characteristics thst have nothing to do with the job. 2) at the very least, i believe they're heavily biased against certain demographics that are unethical and inconsistent with the policies a job placement agency should hold in high-esteem. And at worst, theyre engaging in practices that are unlawful. 3) it is also possible they shadow-ban applicants , but don't tell them, and to these applicants own detriment , they apply to a virtual dead-end thinking the door is open, when its not. I'm kind of hurt , saddened and disappointed Ive made zero progress thus far, and not a single staff member was willing to bat for me or push my application through in earnest throughout all these years .
