Upon moving to the area we visited the library which is located very near to our house. The library is open daily except for Thursdays and Sundays and offers a variety of programmes such as a story time session for babies and toddlers, and drop-in sessions for help and advice on employment or education, those wishing to partake in crafts, and so on. The library has a vast selection of books for all ages and reading abilities, with attractive displays of bestsellers or current recommended reads, and a Christmas display in the doorway. There are also the usual DVDs, CDs and jigsaws available for hire. There are a few toys in the childrens' area and lots of seating available for parents/carers and children. There are also many computers available for use by the public.

If you're attending a movie night, arrive early to grab a good spot. They only served drinks once the film started, so bring your own snacks. Ubers can take 15 minutes during the day and up to 45 minutes post-movie--plan ahead!

The pool provides aqua classes as well as swimming and lessons, and the centre staff also provide kids activities during holiday periods. It is a great addition to the area and very popular, with free parking.
