Initially, I had a great positive rating of this business and thought the owners were genuinely pleasant, but when I returned to my eyelash technician, she advised me not to return because of the harm the artificial lashes had caused to my own natural lashes. She thought that this place had simply grouped them together and that something else had been used instead of eyelash glue. She had to wait for 45 minutes in all because they wouldn't come off. Went in to get lashes, nails & toes done. Never got to the nails and toes part. Wanted a full NATURAL cat eye set.. when done I sat up to look in the mirror and couldn't open my eyes. And the little bit I could see the lashes actually looked like something out of my worst nightmare. HUGE CLUMPY & very very very very thick. After the guy realized my eyes were virtually glued together he tells me to lean back and he would fix them and make them smaller. He proceeded to basically pick out my eyelashes one by one until I literally couldn't take it anymore and told him to just take them off, he then put some sort of remover on that actually felt like I was squeezing habanero pepper juice straight into my cornea.. while that was sitting on my lashes waiting for the glue to come lose he was still plucking my lashes out... he leaves and has another lady try to run the solution in, then as I'm pretty much crying at this point... another lady walks up and asks me if I still want my nails and toes done. I was there from 12:35pm to around right before 5.. like no lady I don't want my nails and toes done anymore I was just tortured for 6 hours.. thanks tho. Wow, just wow. This might be the best pedicure I've ever had. First, they were very accommodating with my last minute appointment. Very friendly and welcoming. The Highland Signature Pedicure at first glance looks pricey but for what you get, its actually a bargain. Back massage, arm and hand massage, plus leg and foot massage. And done well, not just half heartedly. You also get a complimentary cocktail. Highly recommend. We aren't from here but I'll make sure to stay here again just to go to Highland Lounge. read more
