Great service! I booked a 2 hour, 2 person basic cleaning. They did an amazing job! They arrived on-time, on the dot! After a quick discussion about my expectations they began cleaning. Probably within 1 minute of walking in the door. Their attention to detail was incredible! They even cleaned the inside of my garbage can!!! I will never use a service that charges "by the hour" again. That is their way to take their sweet old time.. lingering... and having zero urgency to clean in a timely manner.. and then when time us almost up, they gave the audacity to ask if you'll pay for more time. (I tried them twice and this happened both times) Last time, I paid for 3 hours "deep cleaning" to get a small 12 x 12 living room cleaned (mop floor/dust tables/clean windows/glass/high beams/etc) This was a 4 bedroom / 3 bath / 2 story townhouse where I do a lot of the cleaning myself, so I told them to just ignore all rooms/bathrooms and only pay attention to the small living room as I was having company in town the next day. I was shocked at how horrible of a job they did over 3 hours. Never "washed" the floors with a wet mop, had to remind them to get the floor trim, had to remind them to dust the ceiling fan and top of beam, they totally missed dusting an huge dresser against on of the living room wall. I remember thinking "what in the world did they do for 3 hours??" There were 2 cleaning people. The third came in an hour late apologizing but then asking if I would pay for more time. REALLY?? Just oblivious to what good service means.. since when does company you are paying show up late but then asks you (the customer) to pay extra?? 2nd time was worst than the first. read more

This is not a Texas run Company, no t Texan would treat a new customer the way they treated me. after months of harrassing phone calls I decided to use them. I had a new house I was moving into and I booked at 4:00pm. I needed to help cleaning next day but like everyone during this Christmas seasons I came down with a terrible flu. By 6:30 I had to cancel as I got a high temperature. they close their offices early and rarely answer. I text and emailed and no response. they showed up next day at 9:00 am with three Spanish speaking ladies that looked horrified at my coughing. I told the lady I was sick and had to go back to my old house to rest. nonetheless they would not reschedule and charged me more than my original quote. they keep saying 24 hour cancellation. how do I get a 24 hour cancellation whe they did not let me use it or have the span given the time I booked. furthermore if a business of forcing policies then make yourself available to answer calls to deal with such issues. from looking at other complaints Mrs Fritz seems like a real piece of work. Ive asked for a call but zero response. Mrs Fritz is more concerned about her profits than gaining a customer for life and doing the right thing. more importantly are okay with employees being exposed to sick customers. how effective can one run a business when employees are getting sick because their Bo's wants them working in such condition. this is my fist yelp review - just want to warn HP and Preston Hollow ladies - skip this one both worth the effort. read more

Watch out for the switching of your crew, and the team that finishes too early but lingers anyway to finish the 4-5 hour time frame scheduled. They switched the cleaning team on me after the 2nd cleaning (scheduled cleaning every 2 weeks). The last cleaning team came in for a 4-5 hour cleaning. They were inexperienced or just did not feel it that day. At $95+ per hour, and 1 1/2 hours left, one of the team came to me and said she was done and had nothing else to do so maybe she would clean the windows. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! Dirty rags, and smears left on the family and LV room windows. (I spent almost 3 hours the next day re-cleaning things that were left uncleaned, including all those windows!) 1)Kitchen counters were actually left unwiped behind the canisters, 2)Family room and LV window sills were left dirty with specs of dirt from those wiping rags. (That dirt in the sills was not there before the dirty rags wiped the windows, since they had cleaned 2 weeks prior) 3)The guest bathroom toilet tank was not wiped down, 4)Master bathroom toilet area around the travertine not wiped down ( Really??? Aren't bathrooms and kitchens kind of the expected areas cleaned?) Anyway I did call to express my dissatisfaction with this team and requested that the next cleaning, 2 weeks away, be with a different team. After 2 weeks I was never spoken to again regarding how they would handle the misstep with this team just that they would look at sending a manager next time. I called 2 days before the next cleaning expecting perhaps a courtesy discount on this weeks cleaning as I was charged for work that was NOT done, instead I was told they were still working on gathering a team for tomorrow. I went ahead and just cancelled ALL FUTURE CLEANINGS THAT WERE ALREADY SCHEDULED EVERY 2 WEEKS FOR 4-5 HOURS FOR THE NEXT 6-8 MONTHS. She was fine with that, and did not offer to send a another team to make good OR to compensate for the 1 1/2 hours that cleaning did not happen, even though I was charged for it at $95 per hour. They lost a really good customer here, every 2 weeks, 4-5 hours, no kids, no pets, no smoking. They do a good enough job with the cleaning itself, but my only issue is with the booking/payment policy. If you book a four-hour appointment (based on their room/house size recommendations) but the team only needs about three hours to complete the job, they still charge you for the full four hours. (So if your house happens to stay on the clean side in general, you're penalized.) I guess the lesson, though, is just to take that into consideration when booking your time slot (book fewer hours if your house isn't super messy, etc., even if they recommend more time based on your overall house size), read more

Used them back in May when I was 39 weeks pregnant. The day after they came, there were credit card charges on two cards that I never use. No one else had been to the house prior to this. This was the worse experience we have ever had as a consumer. A friend gave us a voucher that we try to redeem following perfectly the instructions on it. When the cleaning crew arrived we gave the voucher to them and they did not know about it but they took it. When our credit card was charged we call to solve the problem but the angry owner with no modals said we did it wrong so we have to pay, (how sweet right?). We asked her for help as we gave the voucher to their maids, but she did not even try to hear our problem. We file a complain with The Better Business Bureau but Jeri the owner just ignored them as she ignored us. Check it your self.... My girlfriend booked this service for me earlier this year and the team was wonderful. It made me decide to book them again. I went thru the trouble of creating an account online since no one answered their phones for a return call. I booked the service 2 weeks in advance. I received a TEXT, not a call to cancel the appointment the day before they were to arrive. The text read that they don't service my address. No other response. No call. Horrible customer service. UPDATE: I received a call the day of my original appointment (and after I left reviews regarding the poor customer service). They apologized for texting their initial texted response to my booking. She explained that they used to service homes outside their normal zip code but do not any longer. It was a convenient response to address how they were able to clean my home in March but decline the appointment for this month. To make it right, they offered to fit me in the very next morning due to a last minute cancellation (and no fee adjustment for the inconvenience). The ladies arrived promptly and cleaned my home within the allotted time. In fact they cleaned areas that I normally do not and went above and beyond my expectations. They were pleasant, courteous, professional and kind. This was exactly what I thought I was booking when I originally made the appointment. I've used HPH's services a dozen or so times. I was paying more to use a service rather than an individual housekeeper because I thought my property would be covered for damages or theft. After their last visit, there were large, very noticeable scratches on my bathroom mirror. I contacted HPH, and they insisted that the scratches were there before they came. (Nope, I can't tell you the last time I cleaned that mirror myself.) Very annoying. Will not be using this service again. The women were incredibly kind, showed up a tad early & even stayed a few minutes after their scheduled time to complete the job. We hired HP Housekeeping for a VERY messy after-remodel cleanup. I knew I was dealing with the best from the first moment I spoke with Jeri. She went into great detail about what needs to happen in such a dusty situation, not so with other companies I called. She assessed the house and gave me an honest estimate. After the first (of three) days of cleaning, my husband and I were overwhelmed. Our house, which had been feeling like a dusty dungeon, immediately felt like home again. They emptied kitchen cabinets and drawers and washed the contents and the cabinets. Every item in my home was dusted and every wall, floor, corner, crack and crevice was cleaned. On the morning of the scheduled appointment, 1 hour before the arrival, we received a call that we weren't in their service area. The owner offered to still come but take time off the scheduled 2 hours. When I asked how much time, she retracted the offer, saying that it wouldn't work out. She was condescending and seemed awfully confused about what she could and could not do. So frustrating. I agree with one reviewer that if you want anything cleaned a specific way or want something cleaned that they might not normally do you do need to communicate to the team or to the owner. i did have one experience which was average but the owner responded to my concerns immediately and resolved the issue. FYI - this service is pricier than a private cleaning person but note that they are bonded and bring their own supplies. I was with the company for about 2 years up until I had an old iPhone go missing. I cannot definitively prove that one of the HPH maids was responsible since I didn't notice the item missing until I cleaned out my desk. However I don't allow anyone other than housekeepers to be in my home without constant supervision. After time, I'm not nearly as upset as before since the phone was only worth maybe $25. Had it been something of more personal value it would be a different story. With regards to the cleaning strategy, I found the housekeepers to be a little aggressive with how they handled some of my decorative belongings. In hindsight, I probably should have just spoken with them and asked for a little more care. I recently spoke with the owner to work on resolving the issue and she was very helpful. She was willing to replace the phone but since it wasn't of much worth and it had been so long since it disappeared, I didn't think it was necessary. After the conversation I decided to revise my review and clarify my reasons for employing a new company in a more reasonable and less emotionally-charged manner. read more
