I am a very meticulous and definitive person. I do not hold back when it comes to conveying a thought across, especially if this thought is permanently going to be on my body. In short, I don't play. So when I was searching for artists to do fine line tattoo work, I found myself insta-stalking HighLine and I'm so happy I ended up going here. From the very beginning I felt communication with HighLine was on point. I worked with Hawa to send inspiration pictures and coordinate my appointment date and time. She was very quick with responses, usually responding same day but no later than 2 business days. I really appreciated that. Booking was a breeze and she answered all questions clearly with confidence. The shop location is prime with tons of places to see and eat all within a few minutes walk. The studio itself is very clean and zen. This place just has good energy! I'm a big fan. Being that I was getting my first tattoos ever, (microbladed eyebrows don't count), I wanted the experience to be a good one. With the artist's work identically matching my vision - strokes, size, placement. I felt that Loko was able to match my energy when it came to all of it. He surpassed my expectations of his attention to detail and just how good he really is. He worked with me for about 5 minutes drawing up renderings of exactly what I wanted. He took his own creative approach and gave me the perfect tattoos. Then we spent a couple minutes debating between sizing and placement. I never once felt pressured or rushed during the process. He has a light hand so you barely feel anything and I appreciated how he has a quiet tattoo gun so the sound isn't blaring in your ear to whole time. If I could give him a 10/10 I would. His work is flawless and he has overall good vibes - a true artist. I would recommend Loko to anyone looking to get their minimalistic fine line tattoos done. The only detouring factor about this place is the price. A $350 minimum no matter how small your request. After months of extensive research, I discovered Dani and Highline tattoo via Instagram. I immediately fell in love with her work and the relaxed vibe of the studio. Once my appointment was set, I went in for a consultation and Dani was incredibly kind, considering I was pretty all over the place with what I wanted. Then on the day of my appointment, Dani was extremely patient and careful when it came to placement and final design of the tattoo. The actual tattoo wasn't that painful and she encouraged me to take as many breaks as I needed. She was impeccably steady with the tattoo machine and gave me the best fine lines and detail. The artists were also very welcoming to my boyfriend who stayed for emotional support the entire time (I know some studios discourage guests). At the end, I felt like every other artist in the studio complimented the work and made me feel very comfortable. I searched through the depths of Instagram to find a tattoo artist that would kill the image I wanted & lucky for me I found Dani. It seemed like every tattoo I fell in love with on the gram, belonged to her so I NEEDED to book in. I knew pretty much what image, what placement and what size so the email consult was straight forward and jess gave me the price range based on the details I gave- deposit down and I was ready. When I got in to the studio, it was a very comfortable setting & the music was LIT. Dani was super nice and ironed out a few details from the image and printed a few sizes for me to choose from. I expected it to be painful because im told single needles usually are but she was very delicate and told me we can take a break any time. I pulled through and in less than 2 hours, I was done! When I finally saw the piece it was PERFECT! I knew it would be amazing because I've seen her work but she delivered beyond my wildest dreams. The barbie shoe was the one thing I was concerned about because I wanted it to be evident it was a barbie shoe and she nailed it. I'd recommend Dani & highline tattoo a 1000 times over. read more

The decor inside was beautiful and modern. My sister and I came very ill-prepared but consultation went very smoothly and Loko was very helpful and patient. The Artist, Dani, did an amazing job and this review is not any impression of her talent because she is a talented artist, however the studio is the problem. I got charged for 2 hours when the tattoo was only 1 hr and 15 mins. I was told the first cover up is covered, however I was never told there was a 6 month time limit on the coverup so I didn't find that out until it was too late. And they wanted me to pay additional for the touch up. Dani is very talented but I will not go back to the studio. read more
