Every time I stepped foot into that office it's always been something . They mandate masks and then have the audacity to charge you for one . They cancel your appointment then charge you a $20 fee . Little hole in the wall is not worth all those frustrations and trouble . read more

The worst doctor office I have ever visited. Customer service is awful. The doctor doesn't even return calls, even after you have gotten lab work done it takes 10 days and you still can't get a response. I have never been to a doctor office where you tell them that you're sick and they don't even write you a prescription because they waiting on your labs to come back, but when they do you still don't hear anything from them. I would've been better off going to a health department because this is the worst place ever. read more

I have just experienced deplorable experience. This location really needs to work on customer service and ensuring client rights. I just went in during the drop in hours to get my son an immunization shot. The staff made my experience even more complicated by intentionally not wanting to offer accommodation in any way. Front desk clerk asked for his insurance card and I explained that my son's insurance was through his Dad who lives out of state but I could provide front and back of the card through email. (Which this is common and happens all the time!) She shares, " I don't have an email." Lying and being rude. Mam lies!! Every medical facility I have ever taken my son has NEVER given me a problem before now. Then she says because you don't have a copy of the card, you can come back Monday! Mam today is Thursday!! Why would I return Monday!? Your hours on the door says you are open tomorrow and I was told you have walk in afternoon hours. Not one time did she offer for me to return this afternoon with the print out of the card. (She could have printed it but just being nasty!) This frustrated me because you can tell she wasn't trying to help. Secondly, she gives me all this paperwork to fill out, had us sitting in the lobby for over an hour; almost 2 just for a vaccination walk in. She then says that I must wear a mask. I have trouble wearing a mask because of my asthma. I wasn't given an option at this facility in 2023!!!. Smh. But that's your policy.. what pissed me off was I explained this to you and then you still had us wait more time to then explain, no mask, no service after you swiped my car and received payment. Mam you or your Mom and Pop establishment will not play in my face like that as if my time isn't valuable. I requested a refund, requested they shred my information and left. Yes most of the staff with an exception of one white lady with a Mohawk, were black women with poor customer service and a attitude. Unwilling to help or accommodate. Being difficult for no reason. I do not recommend this facility if you are looking for a warm, customer friendly environment for you or your love ones. With my experience at the front desk, I sure wouldn't trust them with the most precious thing I have in life and that's my health and wellness. 0 stars, do NOT recommend. And judging from others experiences I've read, this is the standard at this location, UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE. read more

I have seen Wendy for over 4 years. During which time I have found her to be a very caring, knowledgeable, and professional nurse practitioner. She carefully listens and is very attentive to the needs being mentioned as well as those being monitored. Although I do not live near HighPoint Family Practice, it has been well worth the drive. I would give a zero if I could. Nice helpful nurse practitioner. Next visit was with doctor he didn't even check me out thoroughly. I felt I wasted my copay, time and I still felt scrappy. He was not friendly not saying he was mean but I didn't feel welcomed or comfortable. He was sort of stand offish. I didn't receive The help I was looking for and ended up at another provide the next day paying another copay. Like I said, the nurse practitioner a female was nice and helpful. The staff however, not so much. The African American male will talk to you like dirt. Place you on hold for very long periods of time. I called for an appointment and his careless attitude was horrid for a doctor's office. He talked down to me. And when I stated I would stop coming to their office because of how he was treating me, he told me "Do what you gotta do!" Who talks to a client like that? I was literally in tears. He tried to book me an appointment 30 days out. 30 DAYS for a urgent issue! Come to find out they have walk in but he never mentioned that. He didn't care about my health or well being. When I said I also have a prescription that will soon need refilled, he said " You can't just wait until the last minute you have to book in advance." He could have cared less. Obivously I should have booked 30 day or more in advance and not days. I asked for the office manager and this flamboyant customer service lacking guy ignored me and kept repeating "Do you want the appointment or not.", in a rude and condescending matter. I insisted on speaking with the manager and he placed me on hold so long I had to hang up. There office isn't really clean either dirty walls in the waiting area. I hope they read this and wash those walls at least. I didn't have a good experience. I will never return. Would also give a 0 if I could. We've been to see Wendy Parrish, NP, several times, but today's visit was the worst. She actually yelled at us because my son didn't fast for his afternoon physical. We'd have scheduled a morning appt if we'd been told at scheduling that fasting was required. Even so, yelling at a child patient's parent is NEVER okay. My child was scared to let her even touch him after that - so we left before I would let her examine him. It was not only unprofessional and inappropriate, it was the exact opposite of health CARE. Additionally, their office is filled with chemical air fresheners that I'm allergic to and that trigger migraines. I asked about them several times and they refused to remove them. If you have asthma, migraines, or lung issues, steer clear of this office. What an awful experience. I came straight home and called my insurance company to switch primary care providers. Georgia can do better than this. read more

Absolute worst experience!!!!! Nurse Practioner that doesn't know the proper specialty doctors to refer patients. Office is understaffed and not knowledgeable. Poor follow- ups and constantly requires calling to get actions complete!!!!! Horrible service!!!! Never hardly answers the phone or call back. As a result, the lack of proper referral caused me to spend unnecessary money and time for medical clearance because of not being referred to the correct specialists prior. An M.D. needs to be onsite at ALL TIMES to properly supervise this practice. No NP should be working without the oversight. I am disappointed at the knowledge base and would not use this office as an adult primary care. Terrible experience!!!!! read more

Saw this Wendy Parrish. A zero would be more accurate. I have trouble sleeping so got a sleep aid as I work 12 hrs at night and sleeping in the day is difficult. She only gave me 15 pills. Wanted me to come back to office a only 3 weeks later as she refused a refill!!! The med is not even a narcotic.just sleep med. she thinks I'm going to pay to see her again 3 weeks later? My insurance would probably deny it also.. she is all about how much money she can get out of you. And did I say I was there forever. And she isn't even a doctor. I just picked this place randomly because my insurance changed. Never again read more

I have gone here, not once, but twice so far for different health concerns (Pap smear + Car Accident for vitals/overall health check up) and I will continue to go here. I was extremely nervous, at first, because I had done so much research on different doctors and practices throughout the metro Atlanta area and after reading many mixed reviews about different practices, I started to become discouraged. I heard of this practice through a friend and I knew that this practice had to be good because the friend is a stickler for overall value and quality. I scheduled an appointment and even though I got lost which put me way past my scheduled appointment time, they still saw me the same day and my wait time was very quick (no more than 15-20 minutes, if that). Dr. Wendy Parrish and her staff made me feel extremely comfortable and open as far as my health was concerned. I was able to willingly open up and express all of my health concerns and I, in return, was educated on my health concerns. I even learned things that I did not know and I didn't feel demeaned when it was being explained. I like that the practice is small because I felt like a human being and not "just a number". I like this place and I would recommend and have recommended Highpoint Family Practice to a couple of friends and family and I will continue. The practice might be quite the distance but is worth every penny of the drive, especially when it comes to your health and finding a doctor who has your best interest at heart. The energy here is great and you can tell that Dr. Parrish as well s her staff are working in their passion and genuine as well as personable. read more

Would love to leave -5 stars! Please don't go here!! I went because it was $75 without insurance, but this was my second time going and being told that I have pinkeye when I know it is not pinkeye. She prescribed me amoxicillin and eye drops and my condition worsened so I went to urgent care and they told me to never go back to high point because a real doctor would never give just straight amoxicillin to someone over the age of 6, because it's nearly ineffective and she said the eye drops weren't going to help, because guess what?? I did not have pinkeye!! Just like I told the woman at high point, but instead of listening she just insisted that I definitely did have pinkeye. The MD at urgent care said i have an upper respiratory infection, really bad ear infections in both ears, raw throat, and allergy eyes and that I need to get into an allergy regimen. She gave me 5 different prescriptions and I feel better knowing what's going on. The lady at high point didn't even check my ears and didn't care what I had to say. Pay the extra amount and go to an urgent care or literally anywhere else. Do not spend your money or waste your time here. (Edit: I also called High Point before I went to Urgent Care to see if they could prescribe me something else because my condition was worsening and she did not call back, but another lady (when I called back the second time) said she left a note that I need to just go to the emergency room??) read more
