Sheri worked very diligently with my budget, searching for the best value in food, decorations and all needed goods. She traveled to numerous stores, shopped and delivered all goods to the party location. She set up all the decorations that we well coordinated, colorful and cheerful . She was ready to move the entire party out of the condo and into the building parlor should the crowd grow too big for the condo. She created and sent all the invites on my behalf - a huge help. She worked before, during and after the event - preparing, organizing, decorating, setting up food in attractive displays, doing most of the cleanup, etc. She worked superbly with the bartender I hired. Most importantly, since she was at the entire party, people took notice of and praised her personality and likability. Her rates were very fair and her schedule flexible. His adjustments were huge for a temporary issue, but he helped me develop a process to approaching my sport from a recovery & wellness perspective that actually helped all areas of my life. I came in the summer of 2013 before my senior year of High school with issues with pretty substantial pain, inflammation, and tightness. He made some pretty important adjustments for the time. But he also taught me how to stretch properly, and to relax and naturally drop into a stretch. Using your parasympathetic nervous system vs. forcing into a stretch (sympathetic). This was all in 3 appointments, in one week when I was on vacation, with a huge impact on my career. Before meeting him, I was "injury prone", and at the time I was stressed, and worrying if I'd be able to complete my last Cross Country season in one piece. My husband and mother-in-law finally convinced me to go to a chiropractor. Skeptically, I decided to try it out. I went to a chiropractor that practiced NUCCA. I decided that I actually liked it and it was working! I continued on a fairly regular basis to get adjusted. My pain went a way, for the most part and I improved my range of motion. My first doctor ended up relocating so I switched to another one that also practiced NUCCA, that one was in Longmont, CO and it became too far for me to travel. A couple of years went by and I was not able to find a NUCCA chiropractor any closer than the one in Longmont. My pain gradually came back, except this time it was in my wrist. It was so bad that I could barely write, much less do anything else. I was wearing a wrist brace basically 24/7. I slept in it, I ate in it, and I did everything in it. My wrist was numb and tingly all most all of the time. It throb all the time and became unbearable! The day finally came that I made one of the MOST IMPORTANT decisions of my life...my pain was so bad that I said, "Ok Google! Where is the closet NUCCA chiropractor to Cheyenne Wyoming"...then she popped up the information for Livin' Well Family Chiropractic. Man, was I excited!! I couldn't believe that there was actually one in Cheyenne! As I was looking at their website, it soon became clear that Google was wrong! This chiropractor was NOT a NUCCA chiropractor! I wasn't comfortable with "being cracked". I was even more concerned about that than I was chiropractic care in the first place. I did some reading up about the Gonstead technique, slept on it and then decided that, due to the amount of pain that I was in, why not give it a shot! What was the worst that could happen at this point?! So, I called and made an appointment. It just so happened that they were running a special for that month and I was able to get my first appointment at a discounted cost! I soon learned something...I LOVE "getting cracked". It really is one of the best feelings in life. Not to mention the instant relief that I get and even more so, the long term relief that I get. The Livin' Well team are THE BEST teachers about chiropractic! Don't get me wrong, I liked my other chiropractors. But I have learned SO much more from the Livin' Well team! She was kind and very patient with my difficult last name. Although they were busy, they were able to add me on at the end of the day (I was so grateful). After filling out the necessary forms, Dr. Jay (his last name is tough to pronounce too) ran through a few test to see were my problem actually was. He did a number of adjustments, talked along the way of what he was doing. He was very easy to talk with and didn't speak above my understanding of my injuries or what I needed to do afterwards. I am very pleased with him and his staff. I definitely will be returning and recommend him to anyone who needs him.
