Decided to try a place I had not noticed before in Flushing Meadows. Most small breakfast/bagel shops are great! This one did not disappoint. Upon entering, I noticed there are only 2 tables as you walk in. There's a small area to sit at the counter as well. You place your order at the counter. If eating in, you pay after your meal. When ordering to go, you pay when ordered. That seemed odd to me because if you're eating in, it requires you to go through the line twice! The lady working the counter/register area is very sweet. The man cooking the orders, he is quite busy and keeps a rhythm with the orders. He gets the orders out pretty quickly. Everything you need (I.e. salt, pepper, jelly, butter) is told when ordering. Ketchup is the only condiment on the table. The food tasted great. The griddled home fries were delicious with little pieces of onion and green pepper. I only had a couple of potatoes that weren't quite done enough. I've never seen such a selection of Snapple beverages in one location!! I tried a new flavor - prickly pear & white peach. LOVE PEACH! It's so refreshing! When I'm this area again, I will definitely return for a breakfast platter or sandwich. read more

I've been passing by this deli for years, finally decided to stop in but just for a coffee to go. Place was very clean and well run by the two proprietors. Coffee was good and I will definitely return for a breakfast sandwich after reading some other Yelpers reviews. read more

Definitely a very welcoming local mom and pops deli. Came here on a Saturday morning for a quick breakfast and the owner of the store was very friendly. There are a lot of tables inside to sit down and enjoy your breakfast. At first I was having second thoughts about just stopping by Dunkin' Donuts to settle for a breakfast sandwich before entering the deli but I am so glad I tried it out! The food was very delicious. I had a sausage, egg and cheese on a roll. The eggs was so soft and done to perfection. My boyfriend ordered a tuna melt and he enjoyed it as well. Pricing is fair. It was around $11 for the entire meal. (One sausage egg and cheese on a roll, tuna melt and a ice coffee) Only con I could think of is definitely the need for updating their menu since a lot of the items that I ordered was off the menu. Delicious and convenient breakfast spot in the area. If you're looking for something fresh and want to avoid the overpriced frozen options from Dunkin Donuts, this place is right around the corner and so so so much better. It's a family owned deli and the staff who work here are very friendly! They have all of the regular breakfast options like BLT, sausage eggs and cheese on a roll, western omelette, pancakes, etc.. Everything is made on the spot and it's a very affordable price. They also serve lunch but I haven't tried it yet so I can't review it, but I heard their chicken cutlet is a good choice. They have counter and some table seating and your normal selection of refrigerated drinks. But seriously though, avoid the Dunkin Donuts if you're looking for a quick breakfast and come here instead, it'll be so much more delicious, cheaper, and much better service. read more

This place is a gem at fresh meadows, my office is around the area and it quickly become our go to spot. Pricing is reasonable, owners are very kind and you can tell they put their heart into the business. I always order my customize sandwich - Chicken cutlet on hero, with two fried eggs, american cheese, lettuce, barbecue sauce and mayo. This sandwich is BOMB!! Every time i order the sandwich it's always hot which some places they really give me a cold chicken cutlet sandwich, plus there breaded chicken cutlet taste fresh unlike other deli. This is a place you definitely wanna try out specially if you been to Christina deli/cherry valley, it's a totally different experience. read more

A solid mom and pop run deli that is slightly run down but putting out some delicious eats. They have a nice sized counter if you want to eat your grub and read the paper. Or if you're like me and stop there for a breakfast sandwich they are very fast and they make the good right in front of you. On my last visit I got the standard ham 2 eggs and cheese on a roll for about $3. It was nice and fresh and seasoned well. I hear a lot of people speak about their chicken cutlet sandwiches so I'll have to check it out and report back. All in all a nice friendly family run place to get a quick bite to eat. read more

I've been going here since Junior High. I've moved on from burgers and fries to Chicken salad sandwich. It's not a 5 star restaurant but the food is good. There's something about the place that has brought me back here for 9 years. This deli is run by a nice family, literally a mom and pop shop. So my breakfast appointment canceled on me today. So I aimlessly drove around and saw this place as I drove by. I decided why not ? It had letter grade B in the window but that still didn't deter me. Went in ordered a couple of sunny side up with home fries, corned beef hash with buttered white toast. The place is quite dingy. but cozy. I'm sure it's a favorite hangout for the nearby schools. As I was waiting a young lady stopped in and ordered a egg sandwich to go. About 10 minutes later my order comes out. I shoulda known it would get interesting cause my coffee was served in a to go cup. They served my breakfast on a styrofoam plate. At least they used metal utensils. The corned beef hash had a nice grill mark on it. Eggs made perfectly. Home fries was good and toast was fine. As I was eating a young couple came in and ordered in and a few minutes later another man came and ordered in. Asked for the check and it came out to 7.70. I asked if I could get a refill and the guy plugged in another .50 into the register. So the total came out to 8.20. I'm accustomed to getting free refills on coffee but hey it was only .50. For the price the portions were small. The food was surprisingly good. Would I come back ? Probably not, unless I find myself in the neighborhood again with no breakfast date. read more

I honestly think there was a time in my life where I came here 5 days a week for two years. Everyday after class in high school me and my friends would eat here while waiting for various after school activities. Really really good chicken cutlet sandwiches that are big enough to fill you up for a while. Also some pretty good cheesesteak sandwiches and the burgers and fries are also a must order. It's a great family run business and is one of those great finds if you're ever in the fresh meadows neighborhood. If you eat there prepare for your clothes to smell like food! read more
