Beautiful barn with very well kept and well behaved horses for horseback riding lessons. The instructor my daughter had was very patient for a nervous beginner but they also had options for more advanced riders. They do both English and western riding and they have an indoor arena so you can ride rain or shine. One of the nicest barns I've seen on Long Island that offers lessons and boarding. This is a first-rate and beautiful horse boarding and riding school! Owners are experienced, accomplished, kind, and ethical people who love horses and the riders who love horses. Trainers and staff are truly excellent and care for both horses and riders' goals and safety. Horses here are high quality and extremely well cared for. This barn makes you feel like you're part of a family; you won't find a finer place to learn and/or board your beloved equine anywhere. Terrible experience, the staff Kirsten and Val were extremely rude, nasty and unprofessional to my elderly parents and son. My son was so excited to have horseback riding lessons here as his cousins had done in the past but because of this awful encounter with these women to the point of them yelling in my parent's faces they weren't going through with them. The owner finally got involved only to offer a refund but there were no apologies as to the unacceptable behavior of her staff! How does a place that works with people especially children behave in such a disgusting manner and for the management to allow their staff to treat people in this awful way! My son should not have had to witness such ugly behavior nor should my parents have been verbally attacked trying to do something nice for their grandson. Would never recommend this barn to anyone. We are locals who love to support our local businesses but this was not the right way to treat your customers or run a business! SHAME ON YOU!! I went horseback riding here and took a lesson. The barn is really nice on beautiful property and the horses were all very well cared for. The instructor was really patient and friendly even for a beginner. They do western or English riding. read more
