As it is a takeaway as well there is a quick turn around of the food, so it was freshly cooked and piping hot it was delicious, fish that tasted like it had just been caught and tasy chips that werent too greasy. Overall a very recommendable place to dine with the family as prices were very reasonable. A hit with the tourists in the summer, and only a stone thrown away from the sea front.

Finnegans sell all the usual fish shop fare the prices are a bit steeper than in some chip shops but the extra cost reflects the enhanced quality of the ingredients used. For tourists Finnegans might lose out to it's competitors Beale's and Sidoli's because this is just a take away, whereas you can dine in or takeaway elsewhere. It was open surprisingly late for a countryside shop and the people were friendly enough. But it was pricy, a simple fish and chips coming to well over a fiver. And to make matters worse if your paying on card (which can happen with the nearest cash machine that doesn't charge £2 a go being in Swansea) then you have to march next door and deal with the surly shop owner (who this review is really about) and his "you buy something from me i let you use your card to buy his fish" policy. So £8 down the drain i had fish chips and a packet of merlin football cards (well if i have to buy something unnecessary its gonna be totally unnecessary!) Anyway, for the location Chips Ahoy will do at a pinch. Be ready with cash and you'll avoid a whole lot of nuisance
