Livewire Services installed a chandelier and six wall sconces today for me…read more The owner Troy, his son and another helper worked as a team. They knew their stuff. They were on time, and were cool about rescheduling because I had booked them for yesterday, forgetting I already booked a hair appointment that takes a while to get in and I have an event coming up so I couldn't reschedule the hair. So the Livewire team show up with great attitudes on time and give an estimate for a fair price, especially considering they have to install this big chandelier to a ceiling that's about 22' high!! Honestly it's scary just watching! Of course they had to remove the old one and we were in for a huge surprise there was no electric box!! The previous owners must have hillbilly rigged the old fixture and it was dangerously not up to code, they simply pulled a wire through the drywall and secured a heavy fixture with expanding butterfly bolts ( I forgot what they are called) but it's supposed to be anchored to studs and attached to an electric box. It was a lot of extra work but they didn't charge extra. They cleaned up after themselves and were really nice. They even hauled off my boxes for me that the fixtures came in. They were easy going and I felt comfortable with them in my home. I highly recommend Livewire Services they are good guys who do good work at fair prices.

When they discovered faulty wiring in our electrical box, they handled it immediately--even though it was not part of the original plan--and did it with the calm confidence of people who have clearly seen much worse. Their communication was consistent and clear, their pricing was very reasonable, and every interaction was genuinely friendly. Brody handled the installation at my home, and his workmanship, attitude, and attention to detail were outstanding. If every contractor operated like Sasser Electric, I would probably invent new electrical projects just to have them back. I recommend them without hesitation. If I could give them another star, I would.

UPDATE: The owner responded to my review, and as you can see his response was an attempt to insult,…read moremenace, and put all blame on me the customer. His insults show what kind of business he runs. I'll answer some of his points. 1. I was not attempting to hide my name. I have had this Yahoo/Google name for 26 years and like many people it doesn't have my first/last name. People can see the various reviews I've left on here and they can see what kind of reviews I post. 2. He repeatedly refers to me as this "hero". He does it several times throughout his response and each time it is meant as an insult. Most businesses wouldn't continually insult a customer, especially since my review does not insult or degrade. I said I'm a disabled veteran at the start of my review, but at no point do I dwell on it or claim to be a hero. His repeated insults should be telling to anyone reading it. He is correct, they ended up not billing me for the $250 service fee. However, that was only after they were obviously at fault for damaging my well pump, and after taking 2 weeks to come to my house, only to then show up with zero parts/equipment. He makes his own point when he mentions how they carry thousands of dollars of pool repair equipment, but mysteriously didn't bring a single part to work on mine, even though they drove 45 min to get here and 45 min home. Before they will even make an appointment, a customer has to agree to pay 250 for each visit. That is their rule and only when I complained about multiple visits because they didn't bring any parts, and didn't fix the issue, and when I complained about them damaging my well pump, only then did he say he wasn't going to charge me. 3. As he admits, when I called to report the damage, his employee (who wasn't on the ground) said my pump was damaged by lightning, then said it was a bad pump. And yes, I did blame the company for the damage to my well pump. I'm not an electrician, and definitely no expert at mechanical repairs, but I like to deal with facts. The fact is my well pump was bought brand new 1 month prior. The fact is it has worked perfectly, twice a day since then. The fact is the pump had worked perfectly just 3 hours prior to their arrival. And the fact is, just a few hours after they left the pump was broken. And the fact is the pool and well pump share the same power conduit/circuit breaker. I think those facts are good enough to make most reasonable people suspect it was their fault the pump is now broken. Insults can't hide incompetence.
