On top of this he provided me with some "nerd" knowledge of how parts of the house should function as well as historical facts of how the house was wired. I absolutely enjoyed his tour through the potential purchase looking forward to each corner we came across. Each time something new was seen he would provide his expert knowledge of what it should be or he would get excited that the condition was so great. It was an absolute pleasure! Anyone looking to buy a home and receive a detailed level of inspection, as well as an awesome experience of learning about a home, I would 100% recommend Bateman Home Inspections! If this house doesn't go through, which I would be very sad if it did, we will definitely be using their services for the next!

I'm taking off a star for that because while I appreciate the service and the knowledge that comes with that, I wasn't impressed with the actual roofer or his input. But overall, the inspector looked at the things I pointed out or had questions on, and he pointed things out while I was there. They are busy, at least right now (September 2026). Was about two weeks from when I called to when they could get out. Just be aware if you need something sooner. I would still call to check availability.

these idiots shouldnt rebuild a dog house!! i had a major flood, and my insurance company called…read morethese morons in, and they had no permits to do anything! in raleigh co., that's a law! they installed my wood floor with an inch gap in the middle of the floor and covered it with a transition strip that was 12" off the ground, and my 84-year-old mother tripped over it! they charged my insurance company $9000 to do an hvac service (pic below). the owner of whatever you want to call this outfit changed the design, and the contracts we approved and signed the contract for and changed it because some woman walked in the house and told him to put a pantry in, and this idiot did it. brand new microwave broken, and not a thing said about it broke a brand new tv hauling it from here to there and back. i brought the other tv myself just fine and didn't call, text, or email me before he did it!! then the best part: after we were in the house for 6 months, his excellent electrical repairs almost burnt my house down! i am not done with them by any means; i have 7 years to legally prosecute, and when things calm down, i will get them legally!!
