So, after receiving some info via email, I ventured down here to test drive the Ford Fiesta. The salesman David (who originally emailed me) was excellent - the right balance between imparting information without being pushy. In the end, the car spoke for itself and I decided that the Fiesta was the way to go, but I was impressed by the way David 'sold' the car, highlighting the features without doing the 'hard sell'. Delivery was very easy, everything was ready when they estimated it would be, and David answered all my questions whenever I had any. Would definitely recommend this dealership :)

John, who runs the place, is one of those old school friendly, reliable and trustworthy mechanics. The repairs are always done promptly and well and they offer a "chauffeur service" if you can't get home. It is a small, family run business and it is run well. John's other mechanic whom I call "smiley" because he is, and I cant remember his name, is also great. Last time I had my car in for servicing he noticed some other little thing on the body of the car that was bent out of shape (don't ask me any technical terms ) and went out of his way to fix it. I would highly recommend this auto repairs, especially for females who don't know anything about cars because you won't get ripped off! Tip: It is a little hard to find when you go for the first time as the signage doesn't stand out.

The fellow on the phone checked and said he could have them in the store when they opened the next day. I made an appointment for 9:30 and showed up the next morning. As I walked in, the guy behind the counter said, "John?" "Wow," I thought. "These guys know how to run a business." We quickly sorted through the "extras." I was offered a wheel alignment, which I didn't think I needed at this point. No worries and none of the high pressure BS that sometimes happens. Just a plain simple, "OK, we'll get right on it if you want to have a seat in our lounge. I declined and said I was going out for Brekkie and would be back at noon. I returned at noon, car done, everything perfect and.....the tires were $ 7 cheaper per tire than the best price I had been given by the tire store where I had bought my original tire that was in the boot. I was happy! So, great service, great prices, quality work. I'll be back in 40,000k when I am ready for my next set of tires.

Their speciality used to be vehicle electronics, and it still is, though they are equally as good with all parts of your mechanised transportation module. But for me it was one of the very few places in Adelaide where you can rent motorcycles of different sorts by the day or longer. They have scooters, cruisers, off-roaders and tourers of various capacities to suit. The owners are brothers John and Paul, and they're the friendliest laid-back guys you'll ever want to meet. So much so, in fact, that you might want to go in a day or two early to complete your rental paperwork if you want to maximise your riding time! In my case, I took out a Yamaha XJ6 for a tour of the wonderful back roads and sights of the Adelaide Hills with a local (my brother) as my guide. In a standard day, we covered around 230km. So there's plenty of scope for anyone to get where they want to go within the 350km/day rental allowance.
